Alright, ladies and gentlemen...Detroiters.
I know a lot of you remember the old school science show Kidbits, so I was wondering if you could name me the title of the theme song and artist?
Yes, this is a trivia question and if you get the right answer, I will even play it for you.

I PM'ed bangpow with what I think the answer is, having wasted an hour of my life trying to track the puppy down because it got stuck in my head.
I think Gary Ed Mach, the geeky red-haired dude, is a Pistons Fan:

Maybe we can do a "TV POW" thread next.

Uncle Mxy is correct!
The song is called "Always There" by Wood, Brass, & Steel. It's actually a Ronnie Laws cover song.
Here's the clip and now you all will have the song stuck in your head!

Also, I think Gary Ed Mach is a Pistons fan. I guess he used to live in Royal Oak and now lives in Beverly Hills? So, that would make sense.

I dug up a few articles about Gary Ed Mach and his email address in trying to dig up that song. I was quite ready to drop him an email asking him who did the theme (and thanking him for fond childhood TV memories) if all else failed. When you posted about it, I was just kicking myself trying to find it. I'd have searched all day if I hadn't stumbled upon it!

In my searches yesterday I found this website http://www.foolishearthling.com because it had some credits to one of the guys on the site or something on being on the staff for Kidbits. So, I e-mailed the guy from the site and he hit me back relatively quickly with info to contact some place in Canada, but I had already found the song....luckily.
