It’s starting to get to crunch time as the season’s final month is almost upon us. It’s one thing to be in first in May and June but it’s who’s in first on October 2nd that matters. As baseball fans across the country sit glued to their TV’s, WTFDetroit’s panel of experts once again bring you our version of how the league shakes out.

Are we SURE Vinny wrote the capsules completely sober?
Damn. It was the day after his birthday, and he didn't take the "guest contributor" angle?
You're a better man than I am, Vincent Marlin.

The up and down arrows were a nice addition.
As Vinny noted in his capsules, it will be interesting to see if Gardenhire can snag some of Leyland's Manager of the Year votes if the Twins get the AL wildcard.
And I agree on Girardi. The Marlins are probably going to end up firing the NL Manager of the Year, and the Cubs should be right there to scoop him up. Girardi went to Northwestern and played for the Cubs, which isn't the only reason he's a good fit, but it doesn't hurt.
And Dick Vitale is a D-Rays season ticket holder, one of the few.
