Damn, I was working on an article for the front page on a similar topic.
Oh well, here's the rotation I was working on, it was a work in progress. I suppose I might as well hijack b-diddy's thread instead.
Maybe we can try to trim this down to the best 14-man roster and try to estimate how many wins that roster would get, that's the gist of what I was working on for the article anyways (The "All Ex-Piston Team")
C: Ben Wallace/Scot Pollard/Zelijko Rebraca/Darko Milicic/Theo Ratliff/Mikki Moore
PF: Mehmet Okur/Joe Smith/Brian Cardinal/Cliff Robinson
SF: Bobby Simmons/Bonzi Wells/Grant Hill/Stacey Augmon/Mo Evans/Corliss Williamson
SG: Jerry Stackhouse/Aaron McKie/Bob Sura/Smush Parker
PG: Mike James/Carlos Arroyo/Chucky Atkins/Damon Jones
FA: Darvin Ham/Mateen Cleaves/Kelvin Cato/Jermaine Jackson/Anthony Goldwire/Tremaine Fowlkes/Christian Laettner
Maybe we can do it Survivor style and vote one player off the roster per day? lol
If you guys like that idea, I think we would look at just winning this year, not the future potential of guys like Darko, and um, Darko.

Oh, you just HAD to say it, didn't you, Glenn? :(

I was just pointing out that he is probably the only former Piston active in the NBA right now that hasn't fully become what he's going to be.
If we are talking about building the best roster out of former Pistons for one year, picking a guy based on what he might be in 5 years wouldn't make a lot of sense.
Trust me, I've bashed Darko a million different times, this wasn't one of them.

Most folks can't take 1 million bashes. Darko is pretty tough or you hit like a girl.

I guess the hitting like a girl comment cut deep. Now you understand the pain Darko felt when they called him a drunken, sulking chain smoker.
And keep your filthy eyes off my avatar!
