Fuck Xbox360. Fuck it in the Goat Ass.

I bought my original 360 in early March for a cheap $400, and after purchasing a couple of accessories, and a couple games, my investment was at $650+. On June 14th, I had an over-heating issue in which I had to ship my broken 360 to Texas in order to have it repaired. OK, so its bad enough an expensive, brand new piece of high-tech equipment only lasted 2 and a half months before breaking down, but then I had to wait until July 10th to receive my new (refurbished) 360. This 360 they sent apparently works fine, but the casing is all scratched up, and it just doesn't look as nice as a brand new one. So today I wake up, turn on my 360 and prepare for a nice day of Oblivion. About 1 minute into the game, it freezes. I think to myself, NO FUCKING WAY. I shut it off, wait a minute to fire it back up and when I do, it freezes again. Shut it off, try one more time and I get the red lights of death, meaning I had a hardware issue inside the 360. So I call 360 customer service. The first girl I talk to is being as helpful as she can, but after I go off on her and demand a manager, I am put on hold. I wait for 20 minutes only to then be hung up on.....NOW I'M REALLY HOT! I call back immediately and get this Chinese girl trying to speak english, and I can't understand a fucking word she is saying, so after I give her the business and demand to speak to a manager, she prety much refuses and tells me she will help me...but it sounds like she has a cock in her mouth and I hang up on her. I call back again, finally get through to a woman that is helping me, finally get to talk to a manager, and all they can do for me, besides making me wait another month for my $650+ investment is offer me a game. OK, cool...at least I'm getting something for my pain, I mean I would rather have a perfectly working 360, but this is beter than nothing. Then he tells me the 1 game they can offer in situations like this. KAMEO! What the fuck is this? Of course they are gonnna offer Kameo because it only sold 28 copies nationwide. And they need to clear some space off there shelves, so I get KAMEO! Fuck it...For all the 360 has going for it, they really have me pissed right now.

Since Microsoft screwed up and shipped less than expected (I reserved it in July of 05) I had to wait one month after the launch to get one and mine has been money in the bank. (Knock on wood). It's froze up on me a few times, usually during Oblivion, but nothing major.

No i'm not. The ps3 warranty is free and the Store warranty to cover after is about 20 to 40 bones. Not a big deal at all. And at the spot i go to their warranty lasts two years after the Sony one expires.

yeah, I got mine on that second shipment right before christmas and haven't had any problems besides NCAA freezing once and MLB 2K^ freezing, but those are game issues and not system related.

Other than that, it's been running like a champ and I've logged a decent amount of time on it.

My cousin, however, did get a launch system and had to send it in to get fixed within a couple weeks of receiving it. He got his back in about a week and I think it's working fine now.

I'm gonna buy another one just because I can...LOL. So I'll have 2 when my other gets fixed. I will have one in my room as a DVD player, which I need anyways.

They top it off by taking more of your money for warranties that should come with the product for free. The stuff breaks down. Consumer is pissed. Consumer puts it on EBay and screws over somebody else. The ebay buyer gets pissed and tries to sell it to somebody else and screw them over.

that $650 is more than ive spent on my pc in 3 or 4 years, and my PC has 360 level graphics.

Good luck...I went through 3 different 360's before they finally got it right. Such a fucking headache.

I'm still on my first one... It's working fine.

Occasionally the games that give me some freezing issues, but not enough to make me do anything about were Dead Rising, NBA 2K7, and Rainbow Six:Vegas.

Every other game I have works perfectly and I think my 360 is an awesome investment, and its the shit. I'd rather have that than the PS3 which has a total of zero good games.

The PS3 is not doing well at all and are losing some of their exclusive licenses.

But, I too, have gotten the red light of death on occasion.

I just ante'd up and paid because I was out of my warranty and had no other options. I wasn't going to pay $300 for a new one. Ya gotta love where you have to pay more money to a company because their product was flawed. So bottom line, they hope their product goes bad so they can make even more money. Bullshit.

But with that issue aside, it looks like the 360 is pulling ahead in the next-gen console battle. The PS3 is a disaster, the Wii is a really fun novelty, but the 360 with its games, abilities, and Xbox Live just has too much to offer as compared to the other 2.

If you say so. To me both systems haven't had much worth hopping on. of course if this new socom comes out with metal gear solid 4(which has been reconfirmed as ps3 exclusive) this fall, i may officially get a ps3. But i dont think it'll come out until next year, so again i'm in no rush.

The price drop after the coming one, I'll purchase a PS3. So, probably about another year and a half or so...

I locked mine up for the first time over the weekend, but it restarted with no problems. But the friggin thing has given me tendonitis in my right elbow. Its hell getting old.
