View Full Version : Mo Evans A Spy?
H1Man 07-26-2006, 06:40 PM The rumors behind the head-scratching deal that sent Maurice Evans to the Lakers intimated that Detroit was just dumping the solid bench forward because some Pistons from last year (Big Ben among them) regarded him as a bit of a spy for Saunders.

Explains how he got all those minutes. [smilie=rofl.gif]
Anthony 07-26-2006, 06:44 PM He looks like a bitch.
Black Dynamite 07-26-2006, 06:45 PM wow kiss ass Mo. wheres that wedding picture? Seriously WoW.[smilie=sayitaintso: a snitch in the crew. Carmello Said STOP SNITCHING!!
Glenn 07-26-2006, 06:46 PM Evans seems more and more like Michael Curry every day.

michael curry may have sucked donkey balls and rick's too. but he was no snitch. you never rat out your fellow players to the coach. rasheed and Tay probally laid out some threats(Tay is from compton where snitches are considered worse than crackwhores) and thats probally why he asked to be traded. Fucking sellout.
wow. that's a HARSH accusation.
i wonder if this is true. the pistons have no reason to smear Mo's name like that. kind of makes sense as to why Mo got the nod over Delfino

I think it had more to do with him playing better.
Cross 07-26-2006, 09:16 PM Wait I dont get this. Who was he spying for?
So he was spying at our team...? WTF?!

i'll forever dispute that.[smilie=burgerking.: Evans did not play better overall IMO. He hit more 3 pointers. outside of that no. [smilie=running.gif] How i interpret what i saw back then was Evans being given more of an oppurtunity to succeed and Delf getting less to work with. Evans usually had to have a really shitty performance to see the bench. delfino just had to not make a couple shots in a row and he would vanish for weeks at a time..
Either Way Tay owes Mo a drive by for betraying the code of pistons family.

he was spying on the players for Flip. If sheed says "Flip is a silly looking bitch" Mo relays the info to Flip in exchange for minutes.[smilie=blaha.gif]

Curry was famed for having snitched on players in the D and Toronto.

Uncle Mxy 07-26-2006, 11:18 PM Isn't Lindsey a spy for Joe Dumars? :)
Black Dynamite 07-26-2006, 11:23 PM Isn't Lindsey a spy for Joe Dumars? :)
no. Lindsay aint no snitch. he may be favored by joe, but he aint no snitch.

Future republican (sorry, too easy).
Mo Evans, the spy who shagged me.
There, I went back on topic.
Carry on.
how can si even write something so ignorant.
Glenn 07-27-2006, 08:03 AM Isn't Lindsey a spy for Joe Dumars? :)
I know that you were probably joking, but having Lindsey play alongside a bunch of guys that are going to be working for him in 2 years will be a little bit of a different dynamic this year.
Might be something to keep an eye on.

You are giving these guys way to much credit. They cant even think of tomorrow let alone 2 years from now. You couldnt possibly be any more incorrect.
MoTown 07-27-2006, 08:13 AM I wonder how this affects the team this year. Yes, we got rid of the snitch, but we still have the guy that he snitched to. I'm sure there is absolutely no trust whatsoever between the players and the Flipper.
Glenn 07-27-2006, 08:17 AM You are giving these guys way to much credit. They cant even think of tomorrow let alone 2 years from now. You couldnt possibly be any more incorrect.
I don't know how you can just dismiss the fact that knowing that LH is going to be in the front office in 2 years basically means he's in the front office right now.

I have no idea were you are trying to go with this. I mean I can see it now.
Foul on Nazr. Pistons doing a college style huddle before the ft. Hamilton says, "Sheed come here, you to prince, lindsey stay over there man you are going to be in the front office in 2 years."
The only problem that we are going to have with hunter this year is the same as we have had the last couple, him playing. It's not going to have shit to do with him going to the front office in 2 years.
Glenn 07-27-2006, 08:28 AM I'm thinking that it just might creep into some of these guy's minds (especially the newcomers) that anything they say in front of Lindsey just might be repeated to Joe.
Picture a "players only" meeting.
I don't think it's going to derail the team or anything, I'm just surprised that they pre-announced that Hunter heading to the front office is a done deal.
It's just a new dynamic, that's all.

Hunter's always seemed like a professional guy. He doesn't seem like the type to take what was in a players meeting and repeat it. If he's going to be in the front office in a year or two, he doesn't want to lose the respect of the players before he even gets there.
Also, I don't remember things being very awkward when Joe D was in his last year with the team and i thought it was well known that he would be moving upstairs when his playing days were over.
Glenn 07-27-2006, 09:31 AM I seem to remeber Grant Hill trashing the front office in confidence to Joe while he was still playing, and somehow that got out.
Anybody remember or have the details on that?
metr0man 07-27-2006, 10:03 AM No idea if it's true or not, but boy does it explain a lot, in particular the fact that Mo plays like 80 games despite being damn near worthless except for the occasional corner 3.
Pharaoh 07-27-2006, 11:01 AM On the LH thing:
Maybe he's the type not to take all the "he said this" shit upstairs with him?
I understand what GD is saying though:
It's certainly something different for the team to go through.
Oh, and BTW: I had nothing to do with Evans signing here. NOTHING!
