Maybe they just released him because of his injury. He may not be able to play anymore or something. He's only played 1 game in the last 2 years. If he's healthy again and we can get him to play anything close to what he was doing a few years ago, then I'd be all for it.

I couldn't agree more! He's a young guy that was supposed to become a star that's coming off an injury. He's out there looking to prove himself, and no one works harder than an athelete trying to prove he's as good as he used to be. It seems like everyone's just forgotten about him. At the very least, we have a roster spot open, invite him to camp! I'd love to see him come back and revitalize his career in detroit, a la McDyess.[smilie=reporter.gi:

How many teams have brought Jay Williams in for extensive workouts, only to not sign him? I have a hard time believing all those teams, who are in need of a PG, are passing on him if he has much of anything at this point.
