The Tigers can't really look at things this way, but we the fans can look at these numbers and start to get a bit giddy.
The Tigers have 63 games left. Let's say they go 32-31, one game over .500 the rest of the way (I don't think any of us believe they will only go one game over .500 the rest of the way). That will give them a final record of 99-63.
To match the mark of 99-63;
The White Sox need to go 40-24, a .625 wp - they currently have a .602 wp
The Yankees need to go 42-23, a .646 wp - they currently have a .588 wp
The Twins need to go 42-22, a .656 wp - they currently have a .582 wp
The Blue Jays need to go 44-19, a .698 wp - they currently have .556 wp
