Anyone else a fan of these shows? Other than the games themselves, PTI and Around the Horn are pretty much the only things I ever watch on TV. Far more entertaining way to get your sports news than Sportscenter is.

Sportscenter is the shit. Most favorite show then simpsons:) I like the uh..cant seem to remmeber the name but something along the lines of make a wish. It helps the ones who struggled through out their whole lives and let them meet their favorite athllete. Recently, this kid met T-mac!!!![smilie=grumble.gif]

I liked pardon the interruption, but each "debate" was so short!! Although thats probably what made it so fun. I havent seen that in a looong time

I love Pardon the Interruption, but only when Tony and Wilbon are actually on. Can't stand some of the stand-ins. Around the Horn is a step-down in my opinion, but still not bad. I could see Mariotti and Woody as successors to PTI, if they ever needed full-time replacements. As long as it's no LeBatard or Skip.

I like Wilbon, but Kornheiser really grinds on me. Yesterday they had LeBatard and Whitlock on.

I can't watch ATH at all, not only do I not like the concept, but this guy is irritating as hell.

Wife:Why do they get points?
Me:For making good points on the topic
Wife:How does he decide how many points?
Me:It depends on how good the comment on the topic is

Me:Yup
Wife:Is there a winner?
Me:Yup
Wife:What do they win?
Me:Nothing...well, they get to talk for 30 seconds at the end
Wife:But they are talking now
Me:That's different
Wife:Why did that guy's picture just get frozen
Me:He's out for the rest of the show
Wife:Why
Me:He didn't have enough points
Wife:This is dumb, I don't like it
Me:I'm not asking you to like it
Wife:But couldn't that slick haired guy just rig it so the guy he likes best wins
Me:I guess, but that wouldn't be good for the show

im more likely to watch those two shows than sportscenter because i can get 6 opinions on the main topics in an hour. i like jim rome better than ATH and PTI because he tells it like it is. i also agree that the stand-ins for PTI suck and ill just change it if its not tony and wilbon.

I hate shows where people sit around giving their opinion. I dont give a fuck what they think.

I probably favor ATH, but PTI is nothing without Kornheiser and Wilbon. LeRetard and Whitsuck are just disgracing that show right now.

Plus, Blackistone, Adande, Michael Smith, and Paige are actually semi-informative (well, not Paige) and entertaining to watch.
