Hockey isn't even half as popular...the pool of talent is much smaller...yet there are about 15 solid goalies in the NHL and about 15 solid, leaders at QB in the NFL. QB...and it's not even close. In anywhere between five and ten seconds, you have to: 1. Read the defense. 2. Adjust based on what you see, or call an audible. 3. Determine based on potential coverage your best options. 4. Call the snap. 5. While dropping back, check off your recievers while... 6. Keeping an eye on both the line and the corners (safety blitz), and... 7. Checking for cleared target spots (no roving LB's or DB's) 8. One final check for a blitzing player before motioning to pass. 9. Pass 10. Brace for impact. 11. Get your stuffing knocked out. 12. Get up, and brush it off like it doesn't hurt. 13.
