My list has much to do with the world I live in and the forces that act upon me, and a little less to do with choices I make for my own listening pleasure. Therefore, my list would look something like: The Beatles Rascal Flatts (my wife's influence) Lifehouse (several different influences) Norah Jones (again with my wife) several way tie for 5th, something urban to bring me back to the real world - a combo of 50 Cent, Usher, Kanye West and classic Dre. Moodini31 07-21-2006, 12:33 AM 1. Eminem 2. 50 Cent 3. G-Unit 4. 2Pac 5. Kanye West Black Dynamite 07-21-2006, 12:56 AM audioslave white stripes sade 2pac(pre death releases typically) Parliament/Funkadelic(their obscure and hard to find material) Hank in Chains 07-21-2006, 05:33 AM Rascal Flatts (my wife's influence) Damn man, Rascal Flatts?? Oh well, I guess it's excusable since it's a result of your wife's influence. Classic Dre is great though... I'm all about that. Classic Snoop Dogg is great too. Doggystyle was an outstanding album. I saw Audioslave and The White Stripes mentioned too, and I dig those two bands a lot. Taymelo 07-21-2006, 07:23 AM Incubus Pearl Jam Red Hot Chili Peppers Sade Uh, oh. Running out of steam... Ok... how about Seal, or Dido, or or or... Shit. I can't reach a consensus. Can we change this to top 4? Glenn 07-21-2006, 07:26 AM Elvis Presley Bad Religion Danzig Sisters of Mercy Misfits ('77-'83 only) UxKa 07-21-2006, 02:20 PM so hard to come up with just 5, but here goes... richie hawtin adam beyer dj hype primus lot of hip hop here, ill go with wu-tang, kool keith and 50 cent in a tie. Anthony 07-22-2006, 09:40 PM I agree, 5 is too hard. I'd go with: Jay-Z Frank Sinatra/Rat Pack Kanye West AC/DC Common |
