He started off slowly this year in terms of power numbers (probably due to the back injuries) but he has started to turn it around lately (.289/.355/.433 in June).

Thank you for posting this poll, it gets Taymelo's skanky-ass poll off the home page.

I went with a B for PP.

No problem.

I went with a B as well. I was expecting Polanco to bat .320 after the season he had last year, but he's still been pretty good with the bat, especially with people on base..

And let's not forget about defense as well, because he's part of one of the best DP combos in the league.

I had to give him a C. I guess I just expected more out of him. His Avg is down, his OBP's way down, and his power's pretty much disappeared. He seems to be turning it on so hopefully I can give him an A+ for the second half, but for now, it's a C-.

Take a walk man. I understand the value in not striking out by fouling everything off, but I'd love him to score a few more runs.

I gave him a B. He's a solid player. Nothing special. I just think he's solid. He gets his job done in the #2 slot.

I think he's doing really well considering the size of that melon that he's carrying around.

I also give him a C, he's just not playing at the level he was last year, IMO... And C is "average" so, that's where I'm ranking his peanut head.

I gave him a B. Yes, his numbers are down against his career averages, but if you look at splits from the past 3 years, you'll see this for his BA by month:
April - .280
May - .257
June - .306
July - .346
Aug - .306
Sept - .331
Oct - .417

So he is clearly better at the plate after the All-Star break. I think he has reached base safely in 12 straight, so he's warming up. I wouldn't say he's an All-Star, but he is, IMO, above average.
