I don't think we can win with this current squad, so I went with a sign and trade. I think Ben is enticing enough to some team to get a nice sign and trade package including some young talent. I would prefer to ship Sheed, but I don't see that happening, so Ben is our best bet to get in fresh blood. I don't expect many to agree with me, and feel free to argue, but I think we need to shake things up any way we can and this is one of the few ways this can happen.

Because its a deja vu of his work in minny. Look you need to come to grips with Flip being judged by his record before he got here. You're right Daly had no real experience before Detroit and inherited a not so great team. Thats a different scenario than taking over high expectation teams when you came from an "NBA" team that failed in the same format. Great regular season and iffy playoffs.

Never said he was a ledgend before coaching the Pistons, but he understood the intangibles of what makes a TEAM great. It took some time and great moves by MCCloskey, but he molded the Pistons into one of the greatest TEAMS of all time.
