By the time the first inning was over, it was 3-0 Tigers, and me and my Dad had settled into what turned into a game-long conversation covering everything from beer to baseball to women to gambling to family to life, all without missing a pitch. It was one of those seamless conversations that can really only be had between a father and a son and it was something to be treasured. In all honesty, it was probably the best ballgame I’ve been to in my life, and that fact had little to do with what went down on the field (although it didn’t hurt).

awww.....now that was touching :D
