anyone have one? know anything about it?

i was thinking long and hard about it driving to school today, and i think its about to become a priority.

anyone know how much it costs in all? how many hours it takes? how much it costs to rent a plane?

I assume you are talking about the Private License and not the Sport/Recreational License.

Usually you need a minimum of 35-40 hours of flight time, although most people end up getting close to 60 hours worth of total time. As far as instruction goes, you can go to a flight school and enroll in a flight course or you can get lessons from an CFI.
