Just pointing that out.
Carry on.

I was just extrapolating your own personal opinion about the wives of those who lost their lives on 9/11 lobbying to change the law, to what your opinion would be of the families of those who lost their loved ones in motorcycle accidents lobbying for helmet laws.
I guess you're only upset because you are now realizing how dumb your own opinions are?!?!?!?
So save all the gay insults and start blaming yourself and your shitty opinions about current events, dumbass.

Believe me bitch, I don't need you to extrapolate shit for me. Read the fucking post again. Others understood what I was saying. Once you added your plutoism to it, you end up with that I needed to have my family raped and murdered.
In closing...'fuck off' comes to mind.
Glenn 06-15-2006, 04:52 PM plutoism?
I do see some resemblance now that you mention it.
http://www.needlework.ru/pictemb/disney/mic2.gif
Shugadaddi 06-15-2006, 05:11 PM This was the closest I could find:
Main Entry: plu·to·nism
Pronunciation: 'plüt-&n-"iz-&m
Function: noun
: radiation sickness resulting from exposure to plutonium
Plu·to /'plüt-(")O/, Greek mythological character. Pluto, who was also known as Hades, was the god of the dead and ruler of the underworld. The brother of the gods Zeus, Poseidon, Demeter, Hera, and Hestia, he had Persephone as his consort and queen. The ancients perceived him to be a grim, cold god who justly but mercilessly ruled his shadowy subterranean kingdom.
This makes sense now....right?
Tahoe 06-16-2006, 10:27 AM In the end it breaks down like this for me...
AC pointing out that the left is rolling out peeps who cannot be debated. They funded them. Dems were getting behind CSheehan until she blasted Billary. But the money kept rolling in for her from the far, far left.
The wives weren't just advocating laws, it worked for the left because they were ripping the admin. It was useful to the left.
The right uses a similar tactic by saying that you 'are unpatriotic to criticize the war effort when troops are on foreign soil.
So I said, not everything AC says is bullshit. She did go 'Ward Churchill' on their ass and that made no sense other than to get herself back on TV.
The wives weren't advocating laws, they were ripping the admin all the way. And if anyone said anything about them, they were criticized as a someone who didn't care about the wives grieving.
So then you extrapolate some shit and include my family in your reply. I didn't think my comments deserved you to go personal on me, but whatever, but what did cross the line for me, was you including my family. Say what you want about me, even though I didn't think what I said was that horrendous, but leave my family out of it.
I bet you a fucking dollar that if you keep your ears open and I don't get banned, you'll see somewhere in the future where you and I actually fucking agree on some shit. Not that it matters but going personal like you did was wrong, imo.

Once and for all, for the record.
And listen up here, you might learn something.
Here goes:
I did NOT get personal on you or your family, in any way, shape, or form.
This obviously went over your head, but I was suggesting you try walking in someone else's shoes before you blast them - that's all - nothing more - nothing less - no raping and killing your family.
I was suggesting you look at the world through the eyes of a victim before you continue blasting the victim in political debate.
Did ANYONE here really think I was stating I was going to rape and kill his family?
No.
I was saying "how would you feel if..."
Go back and re-read the thread if you want.
My intentions were pretty obvious.
PS: As to AC, you are missing something. Al Franken (yes, Gecko, AAR is still on the air) disected Coulter's suggestion that "democrats put people who have suffered tragedies out there so you can't personally attack them without looking bad".
You know what he figured out that you're missing about AC?
That she (and conservatives in general) are INCAPABLE of defending their POLICY, so they resort to PERSONAL ATTACKS.
That is how republicans have been in power for years now - nothing more than personal attacks to deflect from the issues (Swift Boats, etc.)
So why does she hate the Jersey Girls, Cindy Sheehan, Max Cleland, John Kerry, Murtha, etc?
Because these are people that the public doesn't want her to personally attack, and it puts her in the TERRIBLE position of having to either attack them anyway - - - or GOD FORBID - - - defend the fucked up agenda of the republican party.
In fact, that's exactly what she said. She's angry that she isn't supposed to personally attack them, and she's frustrated because she knows the only way to "win a debate" on the issues they are involved in IS to personally attack them and deflect from the real issues.
In other words, she hates the Jersey Girls because they make it hard for her to bullshit you, Tahoe, into believing her party's shit policy is not a shit policy.
So, when democrats put a pathetic figure out there, and republicans are forced to debate the POLICY itself, instead of the person debating the flip side of the policy, the republicans remember they can't EVER win a policy debate on ANY of their policies, so they get MAD that they can't personally attack the democrat who had his legs blown up, AND THEY END UP DOING IT ANYWAY!!!
Ann Coulter's ENTIRE MESSAGE is this: Republicans have terrible policy, but win elections on personal attacks. It is not fair for democrats to put people out there that they can't easily personally attack, because it makes them work harder in brainwashing you. But in the end, since they have no other choice because if they debate policy they lose, they personally attack the one they weren't supposed to personally attack, and then blame democrats for "forcing them" into the position.
No one's forcing you, republicans. Simply debate policy, lose, and go the fuck away, and stop brainwashing Tahoe into thinking its the Jersey Girls own fault they were personally attacked by Coulter. Its not their fault. Its the republican party's fault for not pressing the 9/11 commission, and following up to make sure the recommendations are met. You have nothing to say about that, Tahoe, because Coulter hasn't "educated" you about it. Well, guess what. She will NEVER educate you about it, because she knows she can't win that way. The only way she can win is to continue brainwashing you into thinking the Jersey Girls are the enemy of America.
Taymelo 06-16-2006, 09:17 PM One more thing.
I'm getting SOOOOOO sick and tired of indoctrinated/brainwashed republicans getting offended when you call a spade a spade, i.e. call them brainwashed or indoctrinated.
Its like a mexican being offended when someone says "are you of mexican descent"?
Sorry.
Have no original thought, be a Bill O'Reilly clone, and spout off republican talking points that have been hammered into your head, and its obvious you've been brainwashed.
No one that has NOT been brainwashed has ever used the term "cut and run", or any of those other talking points.
Its funny you never hear average democrat citizens walking around saying democratic talking points like "culture of corruption". Personally, I don't think I've ever said "culture of corruption" in a discussion... but EVERY SINGLE card-carrying republican says "cut and run" or "I'd rather fight them over there than here" at least 5,000 times per day.
So, yes, republicans are more brainwashed than democrats.
The proof is in the pudding.
Just talk to a democrat. He will discuss policy with you, and use HIS OWN WORDS AND THOUGHTS to do so.
Talk to a republican, and he'll tell you how John Kerry is a "flipflopper", how democrats want to "cut and run", how cutting and running is a "defeatist strategy", how "I'd rather fight them there than here", etc., etc., etc. I swear. Talking to someone like Gecko/Tahoe is akin to watching reruns of Bill O'Reilly. There is simply no original thought there. Its simply parroting.
Tahoe 06-16-2006, 09:40 PM I'd like to reply to some things but it won't make much of a differnce. So, imo, you've stated your side I've stated mine. You didn't persuade me one bit to move from the center to the left, and it doesn't seem like you are moving from the far left to more of the center. No problema.
I wish you would have said, "Tahoe, what would you advocate if your family was raped and murdered? Or something like that. I didn't like the way it came across then, and still don't like it now. I shouldn't have said that shit about BJs either, but I said fuck it, here it goes. Especially after you brought me up in a thread that I didn't even know existed.
I don't know of any other board that allows the ...banter to go on the way it does here. Its kind of new for me...so I'd rather chalk this one up as a learning experience and move on. You and I will bump heads again in some political thread, but I'll take a different tact next time. I'll debate the issues (which is what I was attempting to do explaining what AC was saying). Fair enough?
Taymelo 06-16-2006, 09:55 PM You didn't persuade me one bit to move from the center to the left, and it doesn't seem like you are moving from the far left to more of the center.
That is another Fox News tactic right there, folks.
Thanks for bringing that up, Tahoe. This will be a good lesson for the kids.
A republican labels his own beliefs "center" and a democrat's beliefs "far left", regardless of how common or how radical his beliefs are, and further regardess of how common or radical the democrat's beliefs are.
There is NOTHING "far left" about me.
I'm pro death penalty, pro strong military, pro right to bear arms, and on and on.
I just know that the Iraq war was an illegal fraud, and Ann Coulter is a cunt.
That was nothing more than an attempt to discredit me by analogy, instead of discussing my beliefs about policy, which is what I was talking about.
Anthony 06-16-2006, 11:31 PM Tay, why are all republicans brainwashed? Please explain. I know this isnt my argument, but why? Because we dont agree with your take? Because you dont like the president and some support him? Just wondering.

See several of my above quotes about the dirty brainwashing/indoctrinating tactics of the "news shows" republicans watch (Fox News), and about how you can see those dirty tactics pop up every time you have a conversation with a republcian, thus proving the brainwashing, and see my quote about how having a conversation with a democrat is different, because they tell you how they really feel in their own words, as opposed to republicans telling you how they feel in Bill O'Reilly's words. There's a big difference.
Taymelo 06-17-2006, 06:17 AM Tay, why are all republicans brainwashed? Please explain. I know this isnt my argument, but why? Because we dont agree with your take? Because you dont like the president and some support him? Just wondering.
And to answer your question in another fashion, do you believe I'm "far left" (a radical, nutcase, communist) and Tahoe is "center" (a fine american" who thinks like 99.99999999% of the country)?
That's how Tahoe framed the issue. I believe he framed it that way because he was indoctrinated by Fox News, which frames issues in that fashion, as well.
I know I've posted this before, but Bill O'Reilly did this shit long before Tahoe. He was talking about the "far left" and had a picture of Michael Moore on the screen, and then mentioned "far right" and had a picture of neo-nazis with swastika tatoos marching.
You tell me, is Michael Moore as "far left" as neo=nazis are "far right"? Of course not, but by showing Tahoe that visual, it indoctrinated him into thinking conservative republicans are "normal" and democrats are "whacko kooks" as Rush Limbaugh likes to call them.
You don't see the trick there?

All Republicans that still support this administration are brainwashed. Dubya and his cronies have betrayed just about every conservative ideal.
Tahoe 06-17-2006, 10:36 AM Tay I did that for one last tiny dig at you, and that maybe you get a laugh out of it...nothing more. Ofcourse you see me on out there on the right and I see you as out there on the left. I honestly thought you might get a laugh out of it.
GDub did indeed abandon conservative ideals. He spent too much of my tax dollars. I cut him a little slack as he had to set up Homieland Security, and fight the Iraq war and the war on terror, but he didn't cut anything domestically.
I consider myself a conservative because I believe in Less Gov't, Less taxes and a stong military. Bush failed me on 2 of 3.

1 of these 3 things he didn't HAVE to do. And he did cut things domestically. He cut taxes for the richest 1%. This administration is a terrible failure.
Excuse me a second someones knocking on my door.

There may be hope for you yet.
Those who are [b]entirely[b] indoctrinated call the war in Iraq "the war on terror".
At least you showed the independent thought to classify them as two different things, even if slightly related (i.e. a couple of the people we kill in Iraq can be labeled "terrorists" but the rest are just "insurgents", which is FAR different).
Kudos for knowing the difference, unless that was a typo, of course.

And now this will throw some gas on the fire...The war in Iraq, while not completely necesary, rid the great peeps of Iraq from and dipshit murderous fuck. Its going to be a rough go for a while. I'm thinking another couple of years, but I believe the country will be so much better off in 5 years than if SH would still be terrorizing the country.

The War in Iraq has nothing to do with Iraq, and everything to do with setting up a two front battlefield against Iran. Read Wolfowitz. This shit's been dry ink on paper even before W took office. It's all about the "democracizing of the world".
Anthony 06-17-2006, 03:47 PM Ok, I see where your coming from Tay.

I've got it!!!
Let's invade the White House, depose its leaders, and spread human rights in America, since we don't have any since Bush used 9/11 as a weapon against us all.
We can call it "spreading democracy" and "nation (re-)building" - right here at home.

This ain't some good ole "Off Topic" or "NBA Forum".
This here's the Terrordome.
And we don't take kindly to your fancy, high falutin "vocabilairy", "fakts", and "educaytion", and words and stuff like that round these here parts.

And vocabulary?

Taymelo, take your leftist cock-smoking ball-gargling bullshit and shove it up your Saab-sitting suburban ass!!!! You're an embarassment to WTFDetroit and, quite frankly, Steve owns more common sense in one square inch of his white sheets than you do in your entire faggoty-assed Michael Moore tree-hugging war-is-not-the-answer brainwashed gray matter.
And Mxy, I NEVER want to hear the word "dreadfully" coming from your keyboard again!!!![smilie=rofl.gif]
Uncle Mxy 06-20-2006, 06:08 AM Tahoe keeps trying to have a nuanced civil discussion for some reason, but gets derailed with made-up words he must've gotten from Dubya.

Oh, as for telling me what to do... I can say small words so you dumbfuck kids can know you are fucked. But I'm just gonna say whatever the fuck I want to say, and you can dreadfully shove it up all your asses until it puckers your asshole.

The Terrodome turned into a echo chamber. Terror my ass, it was nice and peaceful in here and it was ALL TAYS FAULT! No, it was everyones fault.

Or C Tahoe is trying to add some energy to a thread that has his name on it and is getting bashed. Can't have that.
I think Tay and I should team up and terroize all the peeps who have hacked on our thread.
And didn't you ever hear the boxing judge in Las Vegas? "Lets get it on" I doubt he was expecting Tyson and Evander Holyfield to 'get it on'. Come on UMax, get your mind out of the gutter.
