View Full Version : Pick Two
Joe D said he wants a top 8, instead of a top 6 (starting 5 plus Dice) rotation. from our current roster, which two do you want to see have regular minutes? of course, if Joe D makes a trade/move then this is irrelevant.
do you want to see Dale Davis or Cato as a big bodies? what about Delfino's never ending promise of PT? want to see Mad Max bloody some lips with his funky dunks? is Amir poised for a breakout year after his NBDL play? maybe vets like Lindsey or Delk?

Black Dynamite 06-08-2006, 11:09 AM domination by delf and amir"spiderman" johnson
Glenn 06-08-2006, 11:21 AM I love Amir, but I don't see how anybody can think he's #7 or #8-calibre, yet. I'm not even willing to put Maxiell at 7 or 8 yet, and he's further along than Amir is.
MOLA1 06-08-2006, 11:30 AM Delfino and Max. The main reason I pick Max is because he draws more
fouls than any player in the league per 48 and it's fun to watch him kill people.
He eats babies and horses. You gotta love that shit.
Delf is ready to play.
Varsity 06-08-2006, 11:32 AM Amir giving Tay some time off would be great, if Delfino can do the same for Rip that'd be great, if not hopefully we bring in someone that can.
DrRay11 06-08-2006, 11:40 AM I voted Max and Delfino, for MOLA1's reasons.
He eats babies and horses. You gotta love that shit.
Don't forget oak trees and manhole covers.
I voted for Fino and Max because the question asked "who do you want to see get minutes?", if it was "who will get minutes?" I'd say either no one or Evans and Delk.
Delfino and MLE guy (PG). Max will be the extra guy that is in and out of the rotation depending on matchups, injuries, fouls, etc. Amir needs another year, IMO. Besides, it would be nice to lock him in long-term before anyone else finds out about him. This year he should be put in a Mop-up role.
Taymelo 06-08-2006, 02:47 PM Delfino and Max. The main reason I pick Max is because he draws more

Yeah, but in fairness, it was one of those dwarf horses that children ride.
Darth Thanatos 06-08-2006, 02:50 PM Maurice Evans and Tony Delk

I'm not sure where you get your info, but you're wrong.
It's a big ass horse...

robcat911 06-08-2006, 04:58 PM Delfino and Max for sure outa those guys.
Though we will prolly end up trading Carlos and holding onto evans. And then keeping max on the bench and bringing in someone else. At which point i will weep.
b-diddy 06-08-2006, 05:21 PM if all 8 of next years "great 8" are already on the team, im going to have to cry myself to sleep every night, and start making plans for next may, when the pistons are already out of the playoffs.
i voted for lindsey and delfino.
wow, safe to say that everyone wants to see Delfino have a much bigger role next season.
WTFchris 06-09-2006, 07:25 AM Write in:
Myself and Hooper.
Cross 06-09-2006, 08:11 AM I know Max and Amir wont have big roles next season.
To me, its either Delfino or the MLE guy/ hunter.
Black Dynamite 06-09-2006, 09:31 AM actually delfino would be the 9. i think dumars is look to have 4 people getting legitimate minutes for the starters.
Anthony 06-09-2006, 11:20 AM Why would Joe say he's disappointed in Delfino not playing and then go out and sign guys to keep him on the end of the bench? Do you think before you type?
He's going to be a big part of the rotation next year if Flip ever pulls his head out of his ass.

You sound like steve. work on your reading comprehension before you talk that dumb shit.

4 + 5 = 9....I was speaking on the possibility that he could be looking to have 4 reserves coming in for legitimate minutes. Whoever he signs will be a proven scorer and be ahead of delfino. But when i say 9, i mean that we'll use 9 (two free agents and delfino). I never said Delfino would be at the end of the bench. Somehow you read that. Funny.
Regardless of what Dumars does. Its irrelevent, we had nobody on the bench of legitimate talent to be ahead of delfino. But he still road on the pine. I think the message was "get him in the game no matter what". I doubt Joe D wants to purposely pass up free agents because of worry that Flip will try to find a way to screw us over no matter what swingman we may or may not add. If he was gonna deplete our depth at sg/sf for delfino, then he wouldnt tell Flip to play him.
