View Full Version : Who are the biggest drama queens in sports?

Roger Clemens- did we really have to go through this whole charade? Why not just announce before the season that you'll be returning about half way through the year. Was there ever any doubt? And what a coincidence, he's doing a 3 game minor league tour to get ready (one game each at A, AA & AAA), and he just happens to co-own 2 of the 3 teams that he'll be pitching for.

Brett Favre- Every year it's the same attention seeking bullshit. "I might come back, I might not. I really think I'm done". Calls a press conference and then acts surprised that people showed up. Fuck you Favre.

Taymelo- just felt like adding him in here

Terrell Owens- Pushups in your driveway? Exclusive interviews with your agent Drew Rosenhaus (who is usually off saving drowning children or some shit, so he belongs on this list too). Just go away T.O.

Curt Schilling - There has never been more of a camera loving athlete in the history of sports. If he pitched in the 1800's, he'd be unexplainably depressed all the time. He strategically places himself as close to the dugout camera as he can when he's on the bench, and tries to prevent teammates from sitting between him and the camera. Speculation has it, also, that he actually colored his sock red prior to that world series game a couple years ago, because the splotch of "blood" on his ankle never spread and never changed color (as in, it never dried).

YES!!! I hate him and Jeremy Roenick. What a couple of conceited jackasses. They love to be seen and heard until someone asks them a genuinely pointed question. Then its time for pouty "thats not fair" mode.

I agree on Schilling, totally hate that guy.

Might as well add Manny Ramirez to this list. How many times has he requested a trade because he just "wants to be Manny". Everything is explained away as "that's just Manny being Manny".

Then might as well add Artest. He does all this crazy shit for attention, or is it that hes really mentally challenged.

For him, I think it may actually be the latter. In the NBA, though, maybe Kobe/Phil?

Kobe Bryant. No one would waste their time picking fights with Raja fucking Bell unless they're that desperate to sell a few more jerseys.

Which ones? The #8 ones or the #24 ones.

#24. They're all the rage these days.

5 days in and still no mention of the guy that I thought would be an overwhelming choice by our posters...

(huge hint)

my vote for Dwyane Wade.

the dude falls down and i really think he stays down for dramatic effect. one play comes to mind was Game 5 of the ECF's....when Tayshaun hit that huge three in the 4th quarter. looking at the replay, Wade had fallen down and stayed down to either plea for a foul call or he was setting up his next commercial.

the second Tayshaun's shot went up he sprang up, trying to get a rebound. now, credit the guy for going for the board, but he was laying on the ground as if he had been shot in the leg.

Those are good choices, but not the one that I was referring to, if you care.
