Change it back so the new topics are featured and put a limit on the # of fishing stories and alpaca updates.

Also, can we (you) make it so when you click on a thread title in the "new posts" area, it takes you to the first unread post? Right now it takes you to the start of the thread, and you have to scroll through to find out where you left off. Matt 06-02-2006, 09:03 AM thanks for the comments. i was just going to ask about it :D Taymelo 06-02-2006, 09:52 AM Change it back so the new topics are featured and put a limit on the # of fishing stories and alpaca updates. As always, we welcome your comments, and strive to make your browsing experience a positive one. Now someone ban this ungrateful bastard before he complains again! (provided that someone else does the work) TK 06-02-2006, 10:28 AM I like the new threads on the side better than when they were on the bottom. Good work. Gecko 06-02-2006, 12:54 PM Let me respectfully say that the new front page blows monkey balls. You kids change this shit too much. I am too old and un-tech savy to be learning a new way to look for posts every 2 weeks. I think some have ADD here if you ask me. Glenn 06-02-2006, 12:58 PM Until we start adding articles/blogs, etc. you don't really even need to go to the home page if you don't want to. Just use the New Posts option in the forums. Gecko 06-02-2006, 12:59 PM Ok seriously I cannot find a page that shows me new posts and then takes me to the last post made. When you kids get it changed send me an email geckojb@yahoo.com and let me know. Till then I save some stress. Gecko 06-02-2006, 01:00 PM Until we start adding articles/blogs, etc. you don't really even need to go to the home page if you don't want to. Just use the New Posts option in the forums. So why do I post to a thread then hit "new Posts" and I don't see where my new posts was made? I dunno, maybe just stupid but the shit don't seem to work like the home page did. Edit: Just hit "new posts" after I made this one and I don't see this thread "boo front page" anywhere listed. Like I said email me once it's changed back. That or I will just cave, quit being a baby and learn a new way. but it won't be for at least 5 hours. Your call. Anthony 06-02-2006, 01:09 PM I think some have ADD here if you ask me. I know I...... I dunno, maybe just stupid but the shit don't seem to work like the home page did. Edit: Just hit "new posts" after I made this one and I don't see this thread "boo front page" anywhere listed. I think the simple explanation is that it's smart enough to know that you don't need to see your own post a second time (you should see it right after you submit it already), so it doesn't consider any post that you make as new. I think it would be frustrating as hell if every post you make showed up as new, maybe that's just me. I want to know when others have posted to a thread, I already know when I have. Gecko 06-02-2006, 01:14 PM LMAO, seriously I keep clicking on the new posts and I guess my posts don't count as new. I know I am pretty uninimportant here but I am at least as important as say TM or even Gutz right? Glenn 06-02-2006, 01:16 PM When you post everybody but you sees them as new. It doesn't work like the home page as all I am saying and I liked the home page. You got me used to it, addicted almost. Like stealing my crack from me. Glenn 06-02-2006, 01:18 PM I see, well, sorry? Complaints should be addressed to "Matt" in the Complaint Department. TK 06-02-2006, 01:47 PM Gecko doesn't strike me as being very smart. Gecko 06-02-2006, 02:34 PM Gecko doesn't strike me as being very smart. Well you got me there but then again I got the shit changed now didn't I? Power to the People! Besides Tk, your not old enough to know any better :) MOLA1 06-02-2006, 02:40 PM I thought everyone hated my image and my little paragraphs on the front page. I feel better now. Unless that's still the case. Good day sir. TK 06-02-2006, 02:53 PM Gecko doesn't strike me as being very smart. Well you got me there but then again I got the shit changed now didn't I? Good day sir. i like 'em. i just wanted the "Recent Threads" area to not be so low. unforunately, when you put it on the side, it kinda of gets condensed. I love looking at my name it's cool. Taymelo 06-04-2006, 08:01 PM Ok seriously I cannot find a page that shows me new posts and then takes me to the last post made. DennyMcLain 06-05-2006, 03:03 AM I suggest that we (well...you) throw Multimedia forum teasers on the front page, to entice browsers to sign up and check it out. Oh boy, lookie that -- I'm one of the mods in that forum. I assure you the above suggestion has NOTHING to do with that. Glenn 06-05-2006, 02:21 PM If you're already a member, we've changed the place a bit, just in time for the championship run of our Detroit Pistons. Kinda brings a tear to your eye. |
