Black Dynamite

i'm keeping it real. we havent done squat in miami. when i see us step up in south beach, i can only hope they win. but its a big uphill battle.

if we keep going at shaq, we can definately win it though.

win in miami and i'm back on the bandwagon, but it takes more than one good game to make up for all the bullshit in this series and even the cleveland one.

Black Dynamite
05-31-2006, 11:42 PM
its not a bandwagon thing for me. i back the team. but they havent proven that they can win in miami. just prove that much. i'm just going with the odds on this one. this aint orlando we're trying to come back on. i wanna see how serious they really are.

I'll let you know when I find out who's officiating game 6. If it's Danny Crawford I don't see it.

Black Dynamite

we beat danny crawford once. so its not impossible.

Yea, game 6 against the Spurs was actually a Crawford reffed game. Then again, we're 0-3 in the playoffs this year with him.

It's painful to admit that I have lost my faith.

I'd love to be proven wrong.

i had a small bit of faith going into Game 5. so many times when the pistons dug themselves out of a hole, i told myself that from that point on i'm always giving them the benefit of the doubt. last night they held true again.

i've got some hope they can eek one out in Miami.

I don't want to vote, for fear of my vote being thrown back in face after the Pistons win.

wait.

shit.

Confused as to what to pick. I'll play the percentages and say the Pistons lose. They win game 6 and then I'll take a Pistons game 7 win. This team is way too enigmatic for me.

It could be the greatest collapse and resurrection ever.

Funny how 2 more wins or 1 more loss will result in either total locker room mayhem and possible roster/coach turnover or the continuation of a dynasty.

YESSSSSSSSSSSSSIRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!

HOLY FUCKING SHIT!!! I didn't realize that. In that case, we'll kick their ass the next 2.
They'll probably have an officiating team of CrawfordX2 &
Salvatore when we play them in the next 2 games. LOL.

I believed then. I believe now.

When's the last time we ever lost a Game 6?

Glenn
06-01-2006, 02:12 PM
As of this post, confidence in the Pistons winning the series has risen from 39% (last poll) to 54% after last night's game.

Interesting.

MOLA1
06-01-2006, 02:18 PM
Not that interesting. We don't have an even number of voters and after
looking at the people that voted, only one of them changed their minds.

It's early homie.

Glenn
06-01-2006, 02:25 PM
Yeah, I know it's early and it's a small sample size and the same number of voters haven't voted (I tried to cover that with the "as of this post" comment).

Usually %'s are the great equalizer, but I'll admit that with #'s this small, it's not a great indicator.

I actually think that a shift of roughly 15-20% is about appropriate when assessing a 3-1 series compared to a 3-2 series. This kind of shit interests me though.

reasons why i think we might win (still not investing emotion...yet).

1) heat didnt look like they cared that they lost game 5. BIG MISTAKE. you still cant take the pistons lightly, and you NEVER take your foot of their throat. sometimes you give an inch...

2) i completely expect defensive energy on the ORL game 5 level. i'll be shocked by anything less (any thing less, and we lose, too). miami has never seen that kind of defense before.

3) chauncy's head seems to be emerging from his ass. if dude's crappy play in the playoffs doesnt prove he was the mvp, i dont know what does. if chauncy "finds it" again, pistons have a great chance.

trying not to get my hopes up...

I never stopped believing. The Pistons have earned my support over the past couple seasons. Tay is playing his heart out. If Chauncey plays well and Rip and Ben can just do what they're supposed to, we're unbeatable.

Being in Miami, that same defensive energy will send the Heat to the FT line 50+ times tonight. The Pistons will not be allowed to play any sort of defense whatsoever tonight. To think otherwise is insanity.

Glenn

If we win tonight, the next poll won't even be necessary.

Fool
06-02-2006, 03:17 PM
These polls shouldn't be necessary.

Yes, we should all be of one mind.

Just make sure to make the poll answers public.

This guy was banned but you fucks who voted against the Pistons still remain. Justice does not roam the WTF halls.
