What would you guys say is the nicest ballpark? I've only been to two, Comerica and the Jake, and they were both very nice. People also rave about Camden Yards. One park I can't stand even thinking about is Tropicana down in TB. Disgusting, and unbelievable they have a permanent dome in Florida.

Miller Park in Milwaukee. It may look like a circus funhouse from the outside, but from the inside, whereever you sit you feel like you're ON the field. It's amazing. Plus Stadium Sauce. You don't fuk w/ Stadium Sauce. Affordable tickets. Not to mention, Bernie Brewer = no contest.

Sadly enough, the only park currently in use that I've been to is Comerica (and Skydome, or the park formerly known as, now named the Rogers Centre). I've walked around several others from the outside, but that's never a good indicator vs. being there for a game. But I've been to games inside two parks that were domes - Skydome (it was closed for the game I was at) and the Kingdome - where the Mariners used to play before Safeco Field.
Both were horrible. Baseball in a dome is a joke. It doesn't feel like major league baseball at all. Fortunately for my friends in Seattle, they blew up the Kingdome.
I plan to visit at least 5 other parks in the next 2 years: Jacobs Field, Wrigley, Comisky, Great American, and RFK. I would love to see Camden Yards while I'm in DC, but those arrangements haven't been made yet. A friend of mine just went to a game at Petco in San Diego and said it's pretty nice as well, but not as good as Comerica.
One other note about Comerica. A crowd does a lot to influence a park. I've been to 14 games at Comerica, and last Saturday's game with 43,000 people in the seats made it electric and the park was certainly better than I had experienced before. That was a night game. I expect a huge crowd when I'm there on Memorial Day afternoon for the Yankees. I let you know what it's like to see all those people during the day.

Safeco Field is a great park. Even the cheapseats are really nice.

I didn't know it was possible for men to reach adulthood w/out seeing a game in Wrigley. That's just sad, people.

Not a fan of Comerica Park. It's nice but the seating slopes out way to far making the sight lines worse than they outta be. I would of prefer to more vertical seating like the old Tiger stadium or the new ballpark in Houston whatever it's called. I prefer the feel of being on top of or over the game rather than looking out. Know whatta I mean?

I totally agree, you are the first person that feels the same way that I do about this.

I just can't sit in the lower section at Comerica anymore, I'm all about the upper deck behind home plate.

I will say that I do like the Tiger Den (think that's what it's called)especially if you have kids. They give you those wooden Adirondack chairs with a little coffee table in the middle, perfect for shoving the ol' diaper bag underneath. Throw your changing pad on top of the table and change your kids diapers without missing a pitch. Shaded to boot.

Yeah, the Den is deffently the best place to sit in the ball park, IMO.

Standing room only has a great fucking view if you dont mind standing.

So you're that guy?? What the hell is wrong with you. Noone wants to see your kids' dirty diapers and noone wants to smell them either you lazy sod.

Page 2 on ESPN had an intesresting write up on all the parks. They said the same thing about Comerica (the slope is bad). That was their only knock on the park though (besides being empty, but the article was written prior to this year). The funny thing is that they tore fans apart for their "we still believe" shirts last year and now we are winning. ESPN thought we were crazy for thinking it would turn around.

I've been to a WhiteSox/Tigers game in Chicago, and their field sucks. I almost got a nose bleed there. The Skydome had decent site lines but I don't like the field itself. Those are the only places I've been.

Dang Gecko. While I want to give my kids the experience, I'm waiting until they're out of their diapers. A ballpark is not the place for an infant. Too dirty and they can't appreciate it yet. Now, when they're toddlers it's all good.

How can parents take the little little little babies to the game? Especially on Sunday afternoons. I sat behind a couple at the last game I went to, and the sun was just beating down on us, and they had their baby right out in the sun. I came back burnt like a mother fucker, that poor child must have been blistered.
