MOLA1 05-10-2006, 12:58 AM That looks fun as hell. NoQ...don't play this shit until I do.
Let's co-op that shit. Halo's so much more fun that way.
H1Man 05-10-2006, 02:00 PM Has anyone seen the announcement trailer yet?
It's fucking amazing. The thing that most impresses me about it is the fact that it was redered in real-time on the 360 instead of some pre-rendered movie or some CGI shit.
And the music sounds great.
Shugadaddi 05-10-2006, 03:56 PM Now if they could just release this in November they could cripple Sony.

Halo 3 to miss PS3 launch
10:30, May 10th by Ben Parfitt
Bill Gates’ master plan of using Halo 3 to dampen the Sony bandwagon has been scrapped as Microsoft admitted that Halo 3 will not ship until some time in 2007, well after the release of PS3.
In a pioneering move, the teaser trailer for Halo 3, along with a host of other content, was released to gamers on the Xbox Live network at the same time as it aired at the E3 conference.
Alongside Bungie’s latest, other titles on show included Lionhead’s Fable 2, Remedy’s Alan Wake, Bioware’s Mass effect, Epic’s Gears of War and Microsoft’s racing sequel Forza Motorsport 2.
Also on the show are the likes of THQ’s Saints Row, 2K Games’ Prey, Q Entertainment’s N3 and Ubisoft’s Splinter Cell: Double Agent.

Damn. Down with Sony! And I watched the trailers for Halo 3 and Fable 2. The Halo trailer looked pretty tight (but I'm not a big Halo guy). I thought the Fable 2 trailer was incredible. No gameplay shown, but apparently you can be a mage, warrior, soldier with a musket, or a villain. Awesome! It looked stunning in HD.

What, Halo 3 or Fable 2? Or both, lol.
Anthony 05-15-2006, 04:03 PM Halo. I've played Halo and I dont see the big deal. I had a better time playing timesplitters. Never played Fable.
DrRay11 05-15-2006, 04:27 PM See, Anthony, people just differ. I played two Timesplitters games, neither garnering my attention more than Halo. I just found Halo to have more to it, I guess...

I'm a Halo basher myself. I just don't see what the reeeediculous hype is all about. It's just another shooter to me, but in this one you use wierd guns and shoot aliens.
H1Man 05-15-2006, 10:45 PM I personally prefer Halo for it's multiplayer than it's single player.
I don't think there is any other game that comes close to Halo when it comes to multiplayer goodness, whether it be by System Link or through Live.
Anthony 05-16-2006, 11:24 AM Dude, they need to remake Golden Eye for the xbox
That is still the all time greatest first person. I love that game with a passion

you forget that EA holds the bond license
and they cant get an FPS right if their life depended on it
if you sat Tom Clancy himself in front of an EA group they'd still find a way to bung it up

They pretty much did. They call it Timesplitters.
Seriously, I have played both and I love both. Halo will always get the nod, however, because there is a jump button. Timsplitters is great for a lot of other reasons...great characters, loads of weapons, decent story which never takes itself seriously. I also like the mapmaker.
Anthony 05-16-2006, 10:30 PM Mapmaker rocks!
Story Mode is a fucking crackup.
"Time to split"
Moodini31 05-17-2006, 10:38 PM Speaking of Golden Eye reminds me of "spawn killers". People were legendary on that game for knowing the respawn points and lighting you up immediately. One of the most frustrating things in gaming. I met many a spawn killer when I was playing GRAW the other night. UGGGGH!
Anthony 05-17-2006, 10:51 PM Thats just being bitchmade right there.
Black Dynamite 05-20-2006, 10:42 AM timesplitters> halo in FPS. *running away from the halo psychos*
