When I was about 7, I accidentally hit a neighborhood kid square in the forehead with a croquet mallet.

We were trying to see how far we could hit the ball and I got him with my backswing.

He went to the ER and when he got home he had a bump on his forehead about the size of an orange (think, Hasim Rahman).

He said that we would never speak to me again, but when I called him on the phone and told him that my mom had just returned from the grocery store, and she bought ice cream sammiches, he came right over and it was like nothing had happened. Except for the giant purple mass on his forhead, that is.

Yeah, those things are absolute weapons in the wrong hands. Possibly worse than baseball bats.
