View Full Version : Chicago to trade Gordon?

Talk to anyone in NBA circles, or listen to both the local and national announcers, and they’re convinced the Bulls will look to deal Gordon this summer or before the next trade deadline.

He just doesn’t seem to be what they want, which is crazy when you consider that there are only a few pure natural scorers in the NBA today.

Any ideas on where he might land?

The possibilities are kind of endless because of his contract. It depends on what Chicago wants. I doubt they want picks or are willing to trade in divison but other than that they can probably get what they want.

However if Chicago is looking to trade in Divison and wants a pick, I am sure Joe would be willing to part with DD and the ORL pick ********Note I am not serious, that trade would never happen************

Seriously though I could see ATL and Chicago working on a deal involving Harrington in a S&T.

Word is that Harrington is sick of losing, wishes he never left Indiana and finds the Bulls’ hard-working, team-oriented style very appealing. Here’s the dilemma. If the Bulls draft Thomas or Aldridge, do they still sign Harrington? Maybe not. They’d still need a big guard and there aren’t many available this summer. Toronto’s Mike James is only 6-2 but is coming off an impressive season, averaging 20.3 points and 5.8 assists, while shooting 46.9 percent

JS could be right.

Atlanta could offer Harrington and change, but he really is just another Sg for them, so I don't understand the need.

Denver? Their best trading pieces are PG/SG's like BG.

Charlotte? Do they want to give up picks? Cause Ely or May isn't getting him IMO.

Houston, get a guy to take over when TMac can't? Maybe.

Minnesota would be able to use him, but what would they give up?

Not even going to tempt the gods with the idea of New York (Marbury, Francis, QRich, Crawford, Robinson, etc.)

Portland?

Toronto, to replace James? James and Graham for Gordon?

Utah could definitely use him, but what would they trade?

There are some options, but nothing great seems to be there.

I hear the rumors...I doubt anything will happen.

I'd try and wangle a trade with the Lakers for Chris Mihm.

Bulls could offer Gordon and the NY picks as the centerpiece to Minnesota for Garnett.

Offer Gordon,Deng,Pargo and maybe their own 2006 first rounder as part of a three way deal that will net Harrington and a servicable SG. Maybe they could snare JR Smith out of New Orleans,Deshawn Stevenson out of Orlando or Pietrus out of GS.

Portland would take him for the right price. Things are sketchy though with the fact that Portland may hold the #1 pick, while Chicago holds the #2 pick.

All 3 of those SG's are reported to be available. Maybe even with the rumors of Stephen Jackson playing his last game, but I dbout they would want to trade with a team in their division.

As for getting Garnett to the Bulls, its a longshot, but the Bulls have the pieces for it. The picks, youth and talent, and many scrubs.
