Steve Nash sprained his ankle during the final moments of the first half when he ran into Shawn Marion. He returned for the second half, but was visibly hurting. Nash expects to play Game 1 of the Western Conference Semifinals when they host the Clippers on Monday.
Sholdnt be anything big but I wouldnt be so happy having Barbosa start, if I was a Suns fan

I changed the thread title to more accurately reflect what 2/3 of America will say if the Pistons beat the Suns and win their 4th "fluke title" in the past 17 years (nevermind, of course, that Rip has a sprained ankle too - 2/3 of America won't remember that part).

When I saw Cross' name under the thread title I said to myself, "No way self, that's a Taymelo thread if I've ever seen one".
In short, it was obviously Taymelonese in nature.
Should probably add RJ's injury to this as well. You know, when the Nets beat the Heat and lose to us because of his ankle.

In that case, we might as well add Parker's bruised thigh to the list.

Nurse! Morphine! Stat!
Dealing with injuries has been a big part of the Spurs' season. Those injuries will continue to affect San Antonio as it pushes ahead in the playoffs.
Tim Duncan, plantar fasciitis. Duncan insists he is 100 percent -- or, at least, he insists this is as good as he'll get. "It's the playoffs, so there's no point worrying about it now," Duncan says. His numbers were relatively sedate in the early part of the playoffs, but he is looking more spry. Still, as Kings forward Shareef Abdur-Rahim noted after facing Duncan in the first round, "He doesn't seem as active as usual out there."
Manu Ginobili, left calf and shin. Ginobili injured both in the fourth quarter of a rough-and-tumble late-season loss to the Mavericks. The bruises have healed, but Ginobili only recently regained explosiveness in his left leg.
Ginobili, right foot. Three times in the first part of the season, Ginobili suffered injuries to his right foot. First, the foot was sore coming out of training camp. A month later, Ginobili injured his right ankle. Finally, in December, he stepped on Bruce Bowen during practice and sprained his foot. The resulting lack of explosiveness has made him tentative.
Tony Parker, thigh bruise. Parker suffered a nasty bruise in Game 5 of the first round and was a game-time decision before Game 6. He played through the pain and scored 31 points.
Parker, hip. Already dealing with the pain in his thigh, Parker strained a hip muscle in the third quarter of Game 6. He became more of a jump shooter after the injury, and if it continues to affect his ability to penetrate in the second round, the Spurs could be in trouble
Just call it the Spurs excuse list

I'm hesitant to call the death of Larry Hughes brother an "excuse", but I'm sure some Cleveland fans will play that card. <sigh>
If it was a Pacer player, they'd blame Ben for the death.

No.
They'd blame Detroit fans and David Stern.
