View Full Version : Why you should root for the Wiz tonight...
Kstat 05-05-2006, 05:35 PM Per WDFN, the NBA has issued that game 3 of Detroit's 2nd round series will be played on ABC Saturday afternoon, no matter what. Lebron rules.
So if the Cavs win tonight, the schedule would supposedly like this:
game 1- 5/7
game 2- 5/9
game 3- 5/13
Now, if the series goes 7, it'll be a more normal schedule:
game 1- 5/9
game 2- 5/11
game 3- 5/13
I think we can all agree a 4-day wait between games would be irritating as fuck.
Anthony 05-05-2006, 05:39 PM Yes.
And, my dad is making me go to canada for my cousins communion. I dont even like her.
MoTown 05-05-2006, 05:42 PM Either way it's irritating. We're just waiting around now.
I say if you're going to go with that logic, I would go the other way. Miami and New Jersey are ready to square off. If the Cavs win tonight, then we can get the series started. If not, the Miami/NJ series starts and we will be a game behind them, thus getting less rest and preparation to play the winner of that series.
It's already been 2 days between games. A loss only postpones it 2 more days, which means SIX total days without a Pistons game. Go Cavs.
Damn... I hate those early weekend games. The Pistons always play like shit in those games.
Artis Gilmore 05-05-2006, 10:03 PM Fuck Mother Fucking Cavs Bettter Lose.
You guys better hope the Cavs win in 7 if they don't win in OT. The Wizards are a BAD matchup for us. We can still obviously beat them, but the Cavs don't have the explosive scorers/shooters that the Wizards have. They seem like a team that is more likely to go crazy and steal a game from us at home. Which is dangerous to deal with.
Kstat 05-05-2006, 11:11 PM I fear neither team, so I could care less who we play.
Kstat 05-05-2006, 11:58 PM well, get ready for 3 days mid-week of no basketball.....

Black Dynamite 05-06-2006, 12:12 AM The NBA's head guys are a joke. Stern and Stu.
well, get ready for 3 days mid-week of no basketball.....
game 1- 5/7 -1PM
game 2- 5/9 -7PM
game 3- 5/13 -8PM
game 4- 5/15
game 5- 5/17
game 6- 5/19
game 7- 5/21
I'm fine with it. It actually favor us. Tayshaun will need some rest after 2 games of guarding Lebron. Rip is banged up. Ben is banged up. 3 days off is a bit much, but is it really worse than having 4 full days off between the 1st series and the 2nd and only 1 between each game?
Darth Thanatos 05-06-2006, 01:22 AM I love the schedule. Rest is awesome for our squad, and I can focus on the Tigers a little more.
starman91 05-06-2006, 11:25 AM well, get ready for 3 days mid-week of no basketball.....

game 5- 5/17
game 6- 5/19
game 7- 5/21
Game 1 is a 3:30 start I believe.
Glenn 05-06-2006, 12:45 PM I think they need the 4 days for travel purposes, lol.
Uncle Mxy 05-06-2006, 12:47 PM Will any of these be on channel 20?
Kstat 05-06-2006, 05:55 PM Teams get local TV coverage up to round 2, so I dont see why not.
