LOS ANGELES - The Lakers' Kwame Brown is being investigated for an alleged sexual assault at an area hotel, according to the Los Angeles Police Department. The alleged assault occurred Sunday after the team's playoff victory against the Phoenix Suns, police said.

Does the whole "assault in a hotel" part just not seem right? What was this girl doing in his hotel room? It's sad, but every time I hear one of these stories lately, I assume innocence on the part of the athlete.
