Apparently, the criticisms against him are that-
1. He's chinese, and there are no successful chinese fighters in MMA
2. He's too small (5'8")
3. He doesn't have a ground game

The first two are so ridiculous they're not even worth mentioning. Bruce would have to pack on about 10 pounds to compete in the lighter divisions, but that's not a major problem. He'd definitely need to cross train and get some ground game, because if I'm a fighter and I know the other guy doesn't have a ground game the first thing I am doing is taking him to the ground. But with Bruce's work ethic and self-discipline, I think he would have been a hell of a fighter. You can't just transplant a fighter from another era in and expect him to compete nowadays. The same could be said about Joe Lewis or Muhammad Ali.

Bruce's ambition would help him dominate lower weight classes via training and discipline. he'd study ever fighters weakness on some crazy shit. i mean he'd be ridiculously cerebal. but beyond that weight class he would eventually get hurt. but a guy that can effectively kick you 3 times faster than you can punch him once is pretty tough to handle.

He'd beat anyone in UFC, Pride, K1 or what have you. Bruce Lee? Come on man.
We're talking about a fucking LEGEND. Bruce was a master. These cats are fuckin
scumbags that can't punch, kick and half the time I watch, they don't know how to
end a fight when they have an opportunity to. Most of them are worthless.

Bruce would eat em up.

I agree that Bruce wouldn't be very good. Unless he has submissions, a collegiate wrestling background, or a black belt in brazilian jiu jitsu, he's out of his element.

I'd like to agree with you Mola, but the truth is this isn't the 1960's. The way Bruce fought is in the stone age, and he'd have to really update his game. I think he would, and he'd definitely be a terror. You have to remember MMA fighters do this shit all the time, and simple brawling doesn't work on them(see Tank Abbott). These guys would finish a cat on the street in about 4 seconds - but against another MMA fighter it's usually a slow, methodical process.
