So my friends dad took us out to dinner. He was part of a korean gang before so hes very into fighting. As soon as we talked boxing came out. He said it was all good and a very nice sport to watch if your into it. However, my friend said boxing should be banned because fighting for money and beating the shit out of a guy for pride is bullshit. I am actually netural about this.

your friend is a nosey pussy. ~lol~...Seriously though boxing being banned is silly. these guys arent forced to fight. And both parties in boxing are skilled. Beating up on unskilled or undersized people should be banned. But if two skilled athletes enter the ring by choice with about 3-8 months of training ahead of time, gloves, and a referee in between policing set rules, theres nothing archaic or barbaric about it.
