Artis Gilmore 04-20-2006, 09:29 PM Heat with a broom.
Kstat 04-20-2006, 09:29 PM This is the worst possible matchup for the Bulls.
Darth Thanatos 04-20-2006, 09:45 PM Heat in two.
Ben Gordon will have a great series, though.
Black Dynamite 04-20-2006, 10:12 PM Heat in 7. The bulls will pick and roll shaq to his grave.
Anthony 04-20-2006, 10:47 PM Hopefully the bulls can pull 2 or 3 games out. The last thing we need is a rested shaq.
Glenn 04-21-2006, 10:37 AM Heat in a sweep.

MoTown 04-21-2006, 10:44 AM Heat in a sweep.
[smilie=heatsmiley2:
No way. Nocioni matches up on Shaq way too well.
Bulls in 4.
Their center is named after chicken.
That's my only thought on this series.
Glenn 04-21-2006, 10:55 AM Their center is named after chicken.
So is our coach, weird.
Isn't Saunders and ice cream or something?
Hinrich's D has owned D Wade all season. Wade averages 12ppg (24% FG), and 5.33 TOs in his 3 games against the Bulls. Hopefully they give the Heat a tough battle.
Heat in 6
Tahoe 04-21-2006, 10:49 PM Agree with the 'rooting for Bulls' thinking. The Heat cruised to the ECF last year, makes them bastards work a little this year.
Hopefully this game will be a bit more competitive than the first two games today. [smilie=beer.gif]
Looks like the Heat fans are doing a "white out".
Kstat 04-22-2006, 08:11 PM LMAO the Miami Heat put white covers over the empty seats!
BubblesTheLion 04-22-2006, 08:14 PM Looks like the Ku Klux Klan and NBA got their schedules crossed
DennyMcLain 04-22-2006, 08:17 PM Y'all got it wrong.
Those are napkins for Shaq's halftime snack.
Darth Thanatos 04-22-2006, 08:18 PM Shaq will eat every KKK member.
They are calling Shaq for everything. Walker looks like shit so far with two passes that were very nearly turnovers.
Darth Thanatos 04-22-2006, 08:19 PM Walker in the starting lineup. I'm sure Deng and Nocioni will love that.
Kstat 04-22-2006, 08:19 PM Watching Shaq and Sweetney sumo-wrestle in the paint is hilarious.....
I am so fucking happy we didnt get the bulls in round one. These guys are chippy as fuck.
Hinrich has taken Wade down at least 3 times off the all so far.
If shaq doesnt flat-out dominate chicago like he should, they are going to have some serious problems, because the Bulls are a MUCH better perimeter team on both ends.
Those white seats look like shit.
Yeah, but I don't mind an arena full of latin women in white t-shirts. [smilie=2thumbsup.g:
Kstat 04-22-2006, 08:23 PM So who wants to bet Wade will be bitching and maoning about Hinrich after tonight?
Kstat 04-22-2006, 08:25 PM Walker is so horrible.
LOL@ Walker. He's soooo bad. I like that nickname for Nocioni.
[Edit: Just saw K's post. Good looks [smilie=2thumbsup.g: ]
Kstat 04-22-2006, 08:27 PM RedBull is so obvious, too. I'm insulted ESPN was the first to think of it.
Tirico might be creating an endorsement deal for him as we watch.
Nocioni needs to stop mistaking himself for Michael Jordan.
Kstat 04-22-2006, 08:34 PM LOL Wade got crossed to the floor...
I'd love to see 6 games and 3 quarters more of this..... this is fun to watch.
Shaq needs to to go back to shaq of 2000. CHicago is outplaying Miami at every other position, SG included.
Yeah, I saw that. Too bad Tirico didn't have the balls to comment on it. I wonder if that counts as one of his "fall down 7 times ..." (I hate that they are playing that commercial again).
Walker actually finished.
Kstat 04-22-2006, 08:45 PM Wade=WAAAAAAAHHHH
Kstat 04-22-2006, 08:47 PM Miami is the slowest team I've ever seen. They dont even make an attempt to get back on defense.
Anybody else just totally shocked by the defense Hinrich has played on Wade? He's reading every move Wade makes and forcing him into a lot of bad shots.
LOL, Walker is so horrific.

miami just hasn't looked impressive to me at all, all season long. i mean, i'm not saying they suck...it's just that they haven't done anything to stand out, imo. their record vs the top dogs speaks for itself.
refs call an offensive foul on Shaq......hell hath frozen over.
Kstat 04-22-2006, 08:52 PM Nocioni has rodman-like superstar status on flopping...
mia 41, chi 40
bulls don't look intimidated at all. they could really use a run to make a lead, once Wade decides to take over.
Kstat 04-22-2006, 08:55 PM WOW! Haslem ejected!
Udonis w/ two techs and an ejection!!!!!!!!!!
Kstat 04-22-2006, 08:56 PM Wow. Haslem might get a suspension for that.
LOLOLOLOL Udonis ejected! HAHAHAHAHA he threw his mouth piece at the ref!!
Udonis is ronarteststyle dumb, LOLOLOLOLOL.
he threw is mouthpiece at joey crawford, hahahhahaha.
Kstat 04-22-2006, 08:56 PM The empty white seats are stunned and furious at the ejection...
Kstat 04-22-2006, 08:57 PM 82+ games of miami getting every little call has just boiled over....
tyson chandler should be banned from the NBA for not blocking that fatoine walker bullshit.
unfortunately, the bulls can't take advantage.
Kstat 04-22-2006, 09:00 PM Bulls all of a sudden have decided to play like idiots and go away from what has been working for them?
The empty white seats are stunned and furious at the ejection...
[smilie=laugh4.gif] [smilie=laugh4.gif]
jeebus, shrek has 5 blocks tonight?
Kstat 04-22-2006, 09:05 PM I guess if Wade wants to fall down, the bulls will accomodate him....
if fatoine walker makes a difference in the game, you deserve to lose.
Wow. Haslem might get a suspension for that.
Honestly I expect Stern to lay down the law. Post Artest he will throw the book at Haslem. It wouldn't shock me if he gets suspended for the series. He threw his mouth piece with anger as the only reason, there is no way he can claim it was an accident or he wasn't throwing it.
Kstat 04-22-2006, 09:09 PM Good 1st half.
Artis Gilmore 04-22-2006, 09:10 PM Miami is too good for chicago. That's why I said sweep.
i thought the bulls played "gritty" defense?
miami: 63 pts in the 1st half.
LOLOLOLOL, jason williams 1st half interview. dude's as smart as a rock. i've heard more insight from a bowl of rice krispies.
Kstat 04-22-2006, 09:11 PM Chicago let up a little at the end of the half. It was more them playing stupidly than Miami playing well.
The shocking thing was Chicago showing they could play with Miami, aside from a mental lapse. I expected Miami to dominate and it didnt turn out like that.
I dont expect the Bulls to lay down in the 2nd half like hw Wiz and Kings did.
I guess if Wade wants to fall down, the bulls will accomodate him....
I agree he is a drama queen. I can't wait for Heat fans to cry about how they stumbled in the playoffs because Wade was banged up, forgeting the fact it is self inflicted..

the stage is set for an "nba conspiracy", in the eyes of heat fans, when udonis gets suspended for more than 1 game (and he better be).
Kstat 04-22-2006, 09:16 PM I'd set the over/under at 1 game.
btw, the play leading up to Udonis' mouthpiece hurling wasn't even a foul so i don't know WTF he was thinking. he was trying to rebound between two people and even stuck his arm around the legs of a Bulls player to try and grab it. his own momentum made him hit the floor.
what a mental midget.
Not because it is a rival of ours but because of the action he better get a serious suspension first offense or not. I think 5-7 games is fair. I am sorry but just because it was a mouthpiece doesn't make it any better. I would argue that if he had the basketball in his hands he would have thrown that at Crawford.
The only ref that is allowed to be hit with anything and you get off scott free is Steve Javie. Throw a bowling ball at his ass and I will send you money.

yup, what the object was shouldn't even matter. this was worse than bumping a ref. U-dumbass Haslem should be suspended for at least 3 games, imo.
Quick Poll Which of the 76 ESPN channels are you watching?
Also did anyone hear that fool Steve "Snapper" Jones make Bill Walton sound smart with his excusing Haslem's actions?
the bulls could really use a third scorer in the 2nd half to compliment Gordon and Nocioni. most likely from Deng or maybe if Kirk can find his shot. that would really put the pressure on the Heat. heat= 3 in double figures, bulls with just 1 (gordon).
also with U-dumbass being out, they could really use some rebounding. 1st half: heat +10 rebounding.
blocked by fatoine = banned from the NBA.
NICE.....malik allen and 1.
the bulls seem to have a nice half court game. they just need to be patient and rebound well, and i don't see why they can't win this one.
I think Chicago is sitting well down 7. Miami wants to run but the fact is running will kill Miami with their age and lack of depth.
heat up 5.....bulls gaining some momentum.
"this chicago bulls team is the hardest working team in the NBA!!" - bill walton.
5-7 playoffs games? That's far too steep IMO. And I don't think you play the "what if he had a ball in his hand" game.
BTW, Chicago's endurance is why this series will go more than 4 games without a doubt.
omg. where the F was the foul?
bulls doing a GOOD job limiting the heat to 1 shot per possession.
OMG, how did the bulls not score there?!?
Sweetney looks like a Knick.

I agree you don't play the what if game, I was just saying don't judge the object judge the action and intent. You are probably right about my suggested suspension I just think it needs to be more than a game.

i predict two games at least. Stern will not stand for anyone throwing an object at a ref, especially after they replayed that like 10 times on TV, lol.
Hinrich nails a three. dude's a streak-ass shooter....the bulls could really use a lift from him.
hinrich nails another as i typed the above, lol.
OMG I can't believe Shaq missed at shot from farther than 2 ft away.
is there anything sweeter than watching Shrek get an offensive foul? and then look amazed after he clobbered the other guy?
posey's making a living w/ that spot up three.
captain kirk hits another J....bulls lookin' lively right now.
Question Matt or anyone, If Miami loses will Stern go lighter on Haslem than if Miami wins?
suddenly the bulls have 4 guys in double figure scoring, while the Heat still have 3.
Question Matt or anyone, If Miami loses will Stern go lighter on Haslem than if Miami wins?
oooo....good question :)
i honestly think that Stern will side w/ the refs and the "integrity" of his league here. if the heat lose and halsem only gets 1 game....wow. anything less than 2 and Stern went too easy, imo.
heat's lead is back up to 8.
the bulls are going to need a huge run in the 4th. DWade is goign to try to take over in the 4th and he'll definitely get his calls.
"YOU! GET OUTTA HERE! GET!" - Joey Crawford.
that was funny.
bulls played some NICE ASS defense there
With the shot clock running low Posey decides not to give it to Wade and instead gives it to Payton who is guarded at the top of the key ...
commentators giving Hinrich lots of love for his defense on Wade.
Ben. Gordon. is a pimp.
Heat 87
Bulls 82
Kstat 04-22-2006, 09:56 PM If Chicago loses this game, they are going to be kicking themselves until game 2.
Sooo many self-inflicted errors in crucial situations...
Tahoe 04-22-2006, 10:00 PM But its hard out here for a pimp
The Bulls trying to steal one.
That's a sloppy comment by Tirico. The Bulls have been in this from the start. If they win this, its in no way a "steal".
Come on Bulls! Winning game 1 would put a lot of pressure on the Heat.
BubblesTheLion 04-22-2006, 10:04 PM Ben Gordon has such an awesome shot.
87-87 w/ 9:20 left in the game.....let's go bulls.
CHANDLER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
BubblesTheLion 04-22-2006, 10:07 PM BABY BULLS!!!!!!!!!
Bulls up 2 w/ their first lead of the night.
Shrek w/ the offensive foul! LOLOLOL!!!!
Bulls playing w/ some crazy confidence right now....you can see it
good foul by duhon. if Wade is going to jump into you, knock the shit out of him.
Gordon trying to be Wade.
Kstat 04-22-2006, 10:12 PM The ESPN` ball-licking of Wade has started...and he's only hit 2 shots in a row....
Wade's turning it on. Bad news for the Bulls.
At least Skiles was smart enough to call a timeout when he realized Wade was starting to get it going ([smilie=annoyed.gif])
BubblesTheLion 04-22-2006, 10:14 PM Henrich has nothing but the basket in front of him and pulls up.
Still have no idea what that nonsense was about. Go Lay it up ...cripes.
BubblesTheLion 04-22-2006, 10:16 PM He did it again...wtf LAY IT UP HENRICH!!
hinrich for three!!!!
bulls down 2
Damon Jones would have made that three Payton just missed.
shaq at the line....not bad for the bulls.
chandler w/ 5 fouls.....not good for the bulls w/ 3:45 to go.
shrek nails 1 of 2
Nocioni for threee!!!
18 pts 14 rebs for crazy man.
Nocioni is an absolute beast.
chandler picks up a garbage foul on shrek and is ejected.
LOL, savy move by the veteran Shaq. Trip over yourself to get the guy with 5 fouls out of the game.
btw, Wade's shot caused Tirico to orgasm on national TV.
TV timeout so he can change his pants.
Kstat 04-22-2006, 10:25 PM Did I mention that I'm glad we didn't draw the Bulls?
holy shite, bulls 9-11 3pt FG's in the 2nd half.
Shrek picks up foul number 5
BubblesTheLion 04-22-2006, 10:27 PM Get Shrek out !
Get Shrek out !
sadly, that's the last foul we're seeing on Shrek unless he pulls a revolver from his shorts and shoots joey crawford. even then, they just might call a tech on miami's bench.
crucial turnover by the bulls.
SlasherX 04-22-2006, 10:29 PM wow they are going to walker in the clutch? lol
well, nevermind, fatoine throws up a brick on queue.
WADE just got away w/ murder on hinrich, getting that board.
This is Gordon time...
Hinrich's doing his best shitty-AI impression by dominating the ball then heaving up a shot.
btw, Wade's shot caused Tirico to orgasm on national TV.
TV timeout so he can change his pants.
LOL
[smilie=applause.gi:
SlasherX 04-22-2006, 10:33 PM what the hell quick shot?
Kstat 04-22-2006, 10:33 PM Chicago lost this game. Miami just allowed Chicago to give it to them.
This series is going 6-7, i think.
bulls did so much right in the 2nd half, only to put up a piss poor shot.
Skiles is a dumbass. Didn't he do that against us earlier in the year? Have someone heave up as quick three?
LOL, the camera was on Tirico totally dismissing that comment.
wow, Hinrich get the call.
Wade w/ the foul!!??!
bulls down 4.
just give it to gordon and let him shoot.
LOL @ Zo hating Posey for missing that free throw.
Kstat 04-22-2006, 10:40 PM I fear Miami even less than before after watching tonight. I'm not even sure they're a better team than Chicago.
Chicago outplayed Miami most of the game, they just got star-struck at the end. That wont win Miami 3 more games.
hopefully this loss gives the bulls some confidence that they can actually get a win in Miami before taking it back to Chicago.
i have yet to see the Heat impress me, besides when Wade went off for 17 straight against us. even then, it was just him going off and Flip deciding to keep Tay on him.
Black Dynamite 04-22-2006, 10:48 PM No matter who wins. the Bulls wont lay down and shaq is gonna get worn out.
darkobetterthanmelo 04-22-2006, 11:05 PM Wade clashes his knee on a phantom call, hurts it again on hinrich, and its a "cramp"? [smilie=arnold.gif]
Black Dynamite 04-22-2006, 11:06 PM yea the lack of oxygen from his Leggs Stockings is killing him.
H1Man 04-23-2006, 01:50 AM Wade: 16 FTA
Chicago: 17 FTA
Just sayin'
Black Dynamite 04-23-2006, 01:52 AM Wade: 16 FTA
Chicago: 17 FTA
Just sayin'
im sure he was pissed about not getting enough calls to double their attempts.
Cross 04-23-2006, 02:29 AM LOL Wade got crossed to the floor...
I'd love to see 6 games and 3 quarters more of this..... this is fun to watch.
Shaq needs to to go back to shaq of 2000. CHicago is outplaying Miami at every other position, SG included.
Anyone got a video or clip of WAde falling?
Darth Thanatos 04-23-2006, 10:26 AM http://us.news2.yimg.com/us.yimg.com/p/ap/20060421/capt.mh20104212246.bulls_heat_basketball_mh201.jpg
Listen, listen. Here are a few facts from last night:
1. The Heat are cool.
2. I looked damn good in that white suit.
3. I did some hardcore flexing at the club after the game last night.
5. Zo got some mad Cuban ass.
6. Zo can't count.
God bless you all and good day. Don't do drugs.
Anthony 04-23-2006, 11:27 AM This is going 7. The heat are not a good team.
realistic 04-23-2006, 01:52 PM The bruiser Bulls are gonna make the Heat work for this shit. Dance, Shaq. Dance! I'm so glad we got the Bambis.

Miami’s Udonis Haslem Suspended
NEW YORK, April 24, 2006 – Udonis Haslem of the Miami Heat has been suspended one game without pay for throwing his mouthpiece at an official, it was announced today by Stu Jackson, NBA Senior Vice President Basketball Operations.
The incident occurred with 4:11 remaining in the fourth period of the Heat’s 111-106 win over the Chicago Bulls on April 22 at American Airlines Arena in Miami. Haslem will miss Game 2 vs. Chicago when the series resumes tonight.
Pharaoh 04-24-2006, 12:51 PM 1 game - some people in here are gonna be pissed.
Maybe they took it easy on him because:
1) He's a member of the Heat
2) Riley's Mom died
3) He's a member of the Heat
4) Crawford is a hot-head ref
5) He's a member of the Heat
Kstat 04-24-2006, 01:02 PM I said when it happened that the odds were he'd get 1 game.
And no, I don't think Sheed would have gotten suspended for more. Haslem is getting 1 1/2 games as punishment, and I think that's fair.
Glenn 04-24-2006, 01:04 PM 1 playoff game = 8-10 regular season games, IMO
Black Dynamite 04-24-2006, 02:07 PM its fair. if it hit the ref ion the head that would easily get him more. but 1 game sounds right.
Anthony 04-24-2006, 02:41 PM 4) Crawford is a hot-head ref
That maybe so, but he's one of the best in the game, IMO. There is no bull shit with him. He lets you know right away how the game is going to be called, and its called like that for a full 48. Unlike most refs in this league, who let them play in the 1st half, and then in the 2nd half the smallest contact is made and their is a foul.
DennyMcLain 04-24-2006, 02:48 PM A buddy of mine is a huge Shrek fan, and thus a Heap fan as well. He claims the no-call hack at Haslem deserved the emotional reaction. I say he's getting paid lots of money to play a "game", and it's the playoffs, and he doesn't want Shaq eating him. Grow up and act like a pro!!! Walk over to Crawford at a stop in the action and kindly remind him how hard you were just hit. Plant the seed in his mind.
Then again, this is the Heap, home of dWyAyne WAde.
I think if the Heat lost game 1 then 1 games would have been fine I just think 2 games or more would have been the right thing.
I hate Artest but when you look at both him and Haslem 's suspnsions Artest got jobbed. Artest got a game for reputation, and Haslem got off because he didn't have one, but Haslem's actions IMO were far worse.
Black Dynamite 04-24-2006, 05:59 PM though i think haslem got the right punishment, i agree that artest got the ultimate bs on reputation alone. the only reason i feel haslem doesnt deserve worse, is because the mouthpiece didnt hit the ref.
Anthony 04-24-2006, 07:41 PM I think the bulls win tonight
Kstat 04-24-2006, 08:06 PM Tonight will tell wether or not this will be a long series.
If the Bulls lose, this will end in 5 games max.
Wade looks like a mini Walker with his bald penis shaped head.
Kstat 04-24-2006, 08:24 PM Hinrich is a bad, bad man....
Black Dynamite 04-24-2006, 08:26 PM Knowing that miami is much better at home. one would have to think the bulls are getting easy wins at home.
BubblesTheLion 04-24-2006, 08:27 PM Oh, so that's why Kurt wasn't going for the layups, he sucks at them.
Kstat 04-24-2006, 08:32 PM Wow.
Chicago is really getting the shaft...
So all a Heat player has to do is run into someone and fall down?
THose last 2 offensive fouls were among the softest Ive ever seen...
Black Dynamite 04-24-2006, 08:35 PM the rig is on. i wonder how much skiles talks about this post game.
Kstat 04-24-2006, 08:39 PM damn, the Bulls are scorching hot.
Miami without shaq is no match for the Bulls, even if they still have Wade.
The Heat just play no defense at all. Pathetic.
That play where Duhon had 3 minutes to line up for that open three was amazing. The guy just stood there and watched him line the shot up.
BTW, is there a more puzzling draft slide than Duhon's three years ago?
Didnt pretty much everyone have him pegged as a very solid NBA prospect?
Black Dynamite 04-24-2006, 08:42 PM damn, the Bulls are scorching hot.
Miami without shaq is no match for the Bulls, even if they still have Wade.
LOL@wade for mvp.
W/o shaq they are a lottery team. W/o wade they still make the playoffs. in fact walker is deadly w/o wade in stealing his hog role. [smilie=angel.gif]
about the game, the bulls will give it all, but i expect the refs to force them to play 10 times better than they need to in order to win.
Kstat 04-24-2006, 08:45 PM LOL@Wade thinking he can shoot threes too!
Black Dynamite 04-24-2006, 08:47 PM as long as shaq doesnt get in foul trouble, the heat wont lose. the bulls have no answer for the shaq kick out offense. i love our freedom to avoid this double team shaq shit for the most part.
DennyMcLain 04-24-2006, 08:47 PM %$#!! White Chocolate!!!
Black Dynamite 04-24-2006, 08:48 PM %$#!! White Chocolate!!!
he'll choke at the end. classic williams. Bibby owns his baby.
BubblesTheLion 04-24-2006, 08:49 PM This game is insane.....
Kstat 04-24-2006, 08:49 PM The more threes the heat shoot, the better for chicago.
Miami isnt going to beat the Bulls in a shootout, mostly because Shaq is taken out of the game that way.
If both teams keep gunning like this, Miami will go cold long before Chicago will.
Black Dynamite 04-24-2006, 08:51 PM The more threes the heat shoot, the better for chicago.

i beg to differ. he's the catalyst of their 3's . remember the laker set up theory. its in full effect. jason williams is kareem rush.

That Laker team had pure shooters.
This Heat team has streak shooters. They arent built to sustain this kind of offense.
JWill and Walker are perfectly capable of bricking 10 threes in a row and everyone knows that. It's only a matter of when.
Black Dynamite 04-24-2006, 08:53 PM The more threes the heat shoot, the better for chicago.
Miami isnt going to beat the Bulls in a shootout, mostly because Shaq is taken out of the game that way.

if the shots are open they are just as good if not better. the lakers shooters were streaky too IMO. but it doesnt take much pure shooting to hit open 3's.
JWill and Walker are perfectly capable of bricking 10 threes ina row and everyone knows that.
if you're guarding them. which isnt the case when shaq is in getting doubled. [smilie=arrgh.jpg]
but i dont think the lakers shooters arent any less or more streaky than the heat's crop. which was showed when they played us and we didnt cover shaq.

GROSS (that dunk was totally in time)
Kstat 04-24-2006, 09:08 PM Wow.
Two spectacularly bad plays by the bulls.
I take back every positive thing I ever said about them. That was a really really bad mental breakdown.
Can Chicago recover from this?
Black Dynamite 04-24-2006, 09:14 PM youth kicking in? [smilie=anxious.gif]
Black Dynamite 04-24-2006, 09:31 PM who heard this douche call jason williams the father of the crossover that young people immulate? WTF
Comrade 04-24-2006, 09:43 PM Jason Williams is on fire right now, and the Heat are owning the boards.
DennyMcLain 04-24-2006, 10:11 PM %$#!! White Chocolate!!!

Say that again...

Bibby owns his baby. Miami would trade him, SVG, gary payton, and Pat Riley for Bibby. Who happens to own his baby. [smilie=angel.gif]
Kstat 04-24-2006, 10:31 PM This Chicago team has BALLS.
Stupid, but they have some serious balls....
Eh, the Bucks did the same thing againt the Pistons just a little earlier in the quarter.

Scott Skiles is a ballsy coach.
MSU, right?
Kstat 04-24-2006, 10:39 PM I dont question Chicago's desire, but after this game you do have to question their ability to perform under pressure.
This is two times theyve gotten close only to just choke away any chance of winning.

If they were chokers they wouldn't keep making these comebacks. They just are too young right now, and they're making silly mental errors. They will be a force in a couple years if they keep their intensity and draft well. Those NY #1's are HUGE. Aldridge this year, and maybe another big man next year gives them a scary future. They already have a great core with Hinrich, Deng, Nocioni, Chandler, and Gordon.
Black Dynamite 04-24-2006, 11:54 PM chicago is dumb. they could've easily been the number 3 or higher team in the east if they woulda kept brand or curry.
Kstat 04-25-2006, 01:52 AM The more I think about these two games, the more I come to the conclusion that Chicago has been very poorly-coached in this series.
Barkley made a great point on TNT:
Chicago took NOTHING away from the Bulls in either game.
Shaq got his points, the shooters got their points, the slashers got their points.
That was some of the worst double-teaming you're ever going to see. It wasn't even effective against the target that they were trapping.
Hinrich played good D on Wade, and that was pretty much it. Every other Miami player has gone off against the Heat.
Kstat 04-27-2006, 08:49 PM Chicago taking it to Miami in game 3, which is about what I'd expect from a team that plays no D.
Bulls up 5 and SHaq picks up foul #3 with 10 minutes left in the 2nd qtr.
Kstat 04-27-2006, 09:01 PM Miami's going to get blown out if they dont start playing defense...
10-point game middle of the 2nd qtr.
H1Man 04-27-2006, 10:15 PM Shaq with 5 fouls already and there is over 10 minutes left in the 4th.
Kstat 04-27-2006, 10:15 PM 20-point game now. Chicago getting layups every posession. Miami is getting embarrased.
Shaq picks up his 5th foul in less than 20 minutes.
BubblesTheLion 04-27-2006, 10:28 PM There is no team in the East that can hang with the Pistons.
Print the Jerseys.
H1Man 04-27-2006, 10:34 PM Chicago has more points in the paint than Miami.[smilie=rofl2.gif]
H1Man 04-27-2006, 10:35 PM Holy Shit!!!
Posey Ejected.
Kstat 04-27-2006, 10:35 PM LOL Posey just got ejected!
A rather dirty body-block there.
50/50 chance he gets suspended for game 4. Definate cheap-shot.
H1Man 04-27-2006, 10:37 PM I fucking hope that Posey is suspended for Game 4.
Edit: Walker just picked up a Tech and fouls out of the game.
Kstat 04-27-2006, 10:37 PM LMAO Miami's coming apart!
Toine fouls out, and came within an eyelash of getting tossed.
Kstat 04-27-2006, 10:39 PM Haslem gets a tech!
This is comedy gold.....
H1Man 04-27-2006, 10:39 PM Lol.
Haslem picks up a Tech.[smilie=rofl2.gif]
Kstat 04-27-2006, 10:39 PM Wow. Posey nailed Hinrich RIGHT IN FRONT OF STU JACKSON.
He's definately going to get suspended. Half the league office was sitting in the stands watching him go out of his way to body-block Hinrich to the floor.
Miami has resorted to thuggary? Against the BULLS????
[smilie=rofl2.gif]
Artis Gilmore 04-27-2006, 10:43 PM LMFAO@the heat. Fuckers are falling apart like a taco.
H1Man 04-27-2006, 10:47 PM How awesome would it be if the Heat don't even make it out of the first round?
Kstat 04-27-2006, 10:49 PM series 2-1 Miami.
I saw Miami winning in 5 games anyway, but if Chicago wins game 4, it opens up a whole new can of worms.
And if Posey does miss game 4, I might actually like Chicago to win game that game.
-NoQuarter- 04-27-2006, 10:51 PM The Heat got owned.

That was my initial prediction.
But after watching the first three games, I might have to rethink my position.
Miami's defense is truly atrocious. Gordon, Deng, Nocioni repeatedly got into the lane and got a layup or a FT. And not having Posey, who is one of their better defenders and 3 PT shooters, won't help them any. And Walker and Haslem showed that they ae capable of melting down at any second. So how will they react if the series goes down to the wire?
Add to that Wade still hasn't solved Hinrich's defense yet.
Miami really needs to get their shit together if they don't want to be eliminated in the first round.
Kstat 04-27-2006, 11:20 PM The one thing that gives me pause is, Chicago still cant stop Shaq.
Yes he wasnt effective tonihgt, but that was due to foul trouble. Thats not something you can always count on.
H1Man 04-27-2006, 11:24 PM The one thing that gives me pause is, Chicago still cant stop Shaq.

If they let Chicago drive the lane at will, Shaq will be in foul trouble all series.
I went to bed at half time when I saw Sweetney owning the paint. That Posey foul is hilarious to watch. Even if the Heat make it to the ECF, beating this garbage team won't be satisfying (as a fan). Watching Riley should be though.
Glenn 04-28-2006, 10:07 AM Can anybody fill me in on what happened between Wade and Flexzo? I had the volume on too low and all I could hear them say was that Wade teased Mourning about milking his injury in front of a bunch of reporters and Flex didn't take too kindly to that.
Is there more to this than that?
Darth Thanatos 04-28-2006, 01:48 PM Wade was joking around with him, but Flex took it way too serious. He just said "OK"(or something like that) then left. Then he told Riley later that day he was ready.
LOL@Chicago fans. They have some of the best fans around. Their chants were awesome.
And we finally have a team that will put Miami to work in the first two rounds. Thanks Chicago.
Black Dynamite 04-29-2006, 04:03 PM posey is out. kstat are you leaning toward chi-town. i think the heat win this one though i want them to lose bad.
Kstat 04-29-2006, 06:54 PM posey is out. kstat are you leaning toward chi-town. i think the heat win this one though i want them to lose bad.
Without Posey they have Antoine Walker and Derek Anderson manning the SF spot, against Loul Deng and Andres Nocioni.
Miami is fucked. Posey was the last bit of thread holding their perimeter defense together.
I now like CHciago to ties the series tomorrow.
H1Man 04-29-2006, 10:02 PM Shaq fined $25,000 for criticizing officials
Shaquille O'Neal of the Miami Heat was fined $25,000 by the NBA on Saturday for publicly criticizing officials after Game 3 of the Chicago Bulls' playoff series.
O'Neal had eight points, four rebounds and five fouls in Miami's 109-90 loss to the Bulls on Thursday at the United Center. The Bulls cut the Heat's lead to 2-1 in this first-round series, and have a chance to tie it Sunday afternoon.
After getting into early foul trouble, O'Neal spent most of the second quarter on the sideline. The Heat center had only one basket in the first three quarters, and said after the game he was "humiliated."
O'Neal said referees target him and he knew he was in trouble when he saw Bob Delaney was working the game. He averaged 24.5 points and 11.5 rebounds in the first two games of the playoff series.

Kstat 04-30-2006, 02:49 PM Right now Miami looks even slower without Posey....
Miami is imploding like crazy right now.
Fuck! I forgot this game was on so early.
Kstat 04-30-2006, 03:30 PM Hunrich from waaaaaaaay downtown puts the Heat in a 5-point hole with a minute left.
Kstat 04-30-2006, 03:39 PM That does it. It's a 2-2 series now.
I think with Posey out there Miami would have won today.
Losing Chandler really screws the Bulls, however. They really need a 3rd big man now.
ALL the pressure is on Miami to win game 5, now. If they lose tuesday, it's curtains.
Artis Gilmore 04-30-2006, 04:25 PM That Hinrich three was fucking sick.
I'm calling it, Bulls will win game 5 and 6.
SlasherX 04-30-2006, 05:02 PM lol @ wade and payon trying to fight during timeout
Uncle Mxy 04-30-2006, 06:42 PM WTF were they sniping about?
Darth Thanatos 04-30-2006, 06:47 PM Just think how good the Bulls could be with a respectable offensive big man.
DennyMcLain 04-30-2006, 09:02 PM It took them a while to adjust without having Cardiac Curry in the line-up, but they're playing smart ball. And it's true -- with some beef in the paint, they could be a serious 4 or 5 slot each year.
Cue Kevin the Lad, screaming BIG BEN THE BULL!!!!
Anthony 04-30-2006, 10:41 PM roflmao@theheat!
They Fucking Suck!
Bitches
I Hope The Bulls Win.
realistic 04-30-2006, 10:49 PM This is exactly why I didn't want to play Chicago. These young fuckers are too young and stupid to know they can't win, and it could go 7. I'm hoping, if nothing else, that Shaq lands on Nocione's foot and twists something. Or maybe Wade will break a toenail, missing the rest of the playoffs.
H1Man 05-01-2006, 05:04 AM How serious is Chandler's injury?
I just watched the replay and saw that he had to be carried off the floor. He looked like he was in considerable pain.
Kstat 05-01-2006, 10:45 AM It's a sprain. How severe nobody knows.
Kstat 05-02-2006, 08:09 PM Chandler WILL play tonight.
-NoQuarter- 05-02-2006, 08:19 PM The refs are already trying to help the Heat out. I guess all their bitching and complaining has worked out for them.
Kstat 05-02-2006, 08:22 PM SHaq has drawn 5 chicago fouls in the first 6 minutes alone.
Kstat 05-02-2006, 09:13 PM Wade just got OWNED by Sweetney.
He could be hurt too. Landed pretty hard.
Kstat 05-02-2006, 09:20 PM Miami is fucked if Wade is out.
that was a nice, clean block by sweetney too.
i don't know which is more fun to watch.......Shrek brick FT's or Fatoine brick everything else.
Shrek picks up foul #4......Sweetney has been very active tonight.
Chicago w/ a 5 point lead!
Heat fans heard booing, lol
Kstat 05-02-2006, 09:52 PM Shaq in foul trouble AGAIN, and Wade still out with the injured hip...
Miami is so fucked right now.
SlasherX 05-02-2006, 09:53 PM Bulls need to go for the kill now. Wade out, shaq most likely out for 3rd qtr w/ 4 fouls. Don't let walker carry heat, which would be embarrassing, and a miracle.
SlasherX 05-02-2006, 09:55 PM wade back in.
SlasherX 05-02-2006, 09:56 PM bulls can't win this if they keep missing 3pt shots.
Sweetney has been a godsend for the Bulls tonight. 14 pts 9 rebs 2 blks in the 3rd.
Kstat 05-02-2006, 10:11 PM Miami is getting a lot of sympathy calls now....
Kstat 05-02-2006, 10:13 PM Tied after 3. It's a toss-up now.
