Has a city ever had two teams win major pro titles at the same time? Did the Broncos and Avalanche do it one year? JS 04-18-2006, 06:48 PM Highly doubt that has ever happened. Considering only the NHL and NBA are the only two that end at the same time. In the last 16 years alone, there have only been 5 cities that won NBA championships two of which don't have NHL teams (Houston and SA). Start subtracting expansion eras of the NHL and NBA and you realize that there are very few cities that have both NHL and NBA teams.
