Wade, LeBron and Iverson Lead Most Popular Jersey List

NEW YORK, April 17, 2006 – The Los Angeles Lakers, New York Knicks and Miami Heat top the league’s list of most popular team merchandise based on sales at the NBA Store on Fifth Avenue in New York City and NBAStore.com beginning with the start of the 2005-06 NBA preseason and ending Saturday, April 8. The Miami Heat’s Dwyane Wade, Cleveland Cavaliers’ LeBron James, and Philadelphia 76ers’ Allen Iverson lead the NBA’s list of most popular player jerseys.

The top 25 best-selling player jerseys and top 10 best-selling teams are listed below in order:

Five players are new to the season-end top 25 player jersey list compared to 2004-05 season-end list (as indicated by *).

Reebok was the official on-court apparel provider for the NBA during the 2005-06 season. The NBA and the adidas Group recently announced that beginning with the 2006-07 season, adidas will become the official uniform and apparel provider for the league. The change to adidas comes as a result of the Group’s January 2006 acquisition of Reebok International Ltd., the NBA’s exclusive uniform and apparel provider since 2001.

I can't get a Pistons "Billups" or "Wallace" jersey here in Cairns, but can get a Paul Pierce one.

Fuck that shit.

No wonder Boston are ahead of us.
