Charlotte Observer - In a surprising move, the Bobcats waived Kareem Rush. The shooting guard did not play on Friday night against the Bulls.

"We had a conversation, and it ended abruptly," Bickerstaff told the Observer Saturday. "The young man has an abundance of talent, and I hope he realizes that."

"The Bobcats are about two things -- hard work and maximum effort," Bickerstaff said. "With that in mind, we think it's best to go in a different direction with Kareem."

Can he play the 3? I think he can. Hes a good shooter who can come off the bench for us.

No. The last thing we need is another 3 ball chucker.

What we're going to need is a new PG because Lindsey will probably retire.

I wouldnt really call him a chucker. he was ok on the Bobcats before he went down with an injury.

Kareem Rush is average.

Having said that, how does and average NBA player get cut by a terrible NBA team?

I wish I was a fly on the wall for that conversation.

I'm thinking Delk is brought back.

Part of the MLE/Bi-Annual Exception would be his if he wanted it.

And about Kareem Rush:

Not now. Before the season I thought he had potential but WTF happened to him? Very inconsistent and this situation makes me think he was a lazy piece of shit.

Just say No!

No thanks. He only does one thing good, and we have plenty of that on our team.

Rush is barely a SG (size wise). I don't have the numbers, but he's probably 6'4" or something like that. Not a SF by any means. Plus I'd rather have Delfino.
