wasn't there a soda like Jolt cola but it was citrus based? I think I remember there being one like that. It wasn't as popular as Jolt was, and this was before Mountain Dew was that popular.

I think Mello Yello has been renamed "Vault", seems like the same stuff to me at least.

My local grocer carries Crush in glass bottles. Orange, Grape, Raspberry and a few others.

Some of the Saginaw guys here might remember "The Pop Shop". They sold all kinds of different flavors in the glass bottle. You go and pick out whatever flavors you want (mix and match) in a plastic crate. Don't think that place exists anymore though. I think the brand of pop was "National Beverage Co." or something like that if memory serves.

There is a Pop Shoppe an hour or so outside Windsor with the Fruit Punch, Black Cherry, Lime Rickey(though it's green now, not the couudy white I remember), cream soda etc.

It's not the same company or even flavors though. Some guy grew up on the stuff as a youngster abd bot the brand in 2002. There was a factory in Windsor that stayed open until the early 90's, eventhough the history on the lined site(below) says it went belly-up in '83 or so.

Yeah, a guy is trying to ressurect the dead brand. We had the exact same dingy outlet with the red pop shoppe crates in Windsor, where you could watch the bottles being filled and such that closed in the early '90's.

I remember that. That was like a fashion drink. It tasted like shit, but some people drank it anyways just to try to look cool.

Faygo Redpop. I refuse to drink any other kind of soda.

I don't know if alot of you remember, but, All soda use to be excellent, not only becuase it was in GLASS(Glass imparts NO taste into the liquid) but all Sodas use to be flavored with CANE SUGAR, NOT high frutrose corn syrup. That crap leves a NASTY slime in your mouth and thraot, whereas the old stuff was refreshing.

If you can find it, hit a local dive party store, and find Coke imported from Mexico. Some of it is still made the RIGHT WAY, and its awesome.

NOTHING IN THIS WORLD TOPPED Mountain Dew in a glass bottle though.
