Careless enough to just leave the bag sitting on a bench, they deserve to lose it.

But that's a quality move by the guy who found it.

stupid. is he nice? yeah, but he's stupid beyond nice. He thought it was prop jewelry.

Now he may not have gotten a reward. He had to chance to walk on rose pedals for the rest of his life and got jack shit to show for it but an article on the internet that says he's a nice guy.

You know whoever lost the bag is probably opening a sweatshop, stealing someone's retirement funds or whatever else evil rich people do.

eh, guy does the right thing and he's stupid. nice morals.

i'll admit i might have kept a dollar i've found on the floor. but, i once found a wallet and returned the thing to the owner. he was actually surprised the cash was still in there. whyTF would i want to take something i didn't earn?

that's a blue collar mindstate. Rich people like C.E.O's and such don't "earn" their money, they just get it. This guy finally got slight opportunity to live like a rich man, instead he's going home to dream some more.

Karma can be a bitch, but she can also be a very sweet lady.

then, why take something that doesn't belong to me? i'm not equating that to stealing, but if it's within reason, i'd hope that most people would return something they found.

the financial state of the owner should have nothing to do with the decision.

maybe i'm sounding like an idealist, but it just sucks when doing the right thing is considered out of the ordinary [smilie=anxious.gif]

I would have returned it without a second thought. Though I would have been disappointed if I wasn't offered a "token of gratitude", though there not being a reward wouldn't change my decision not to return it sorta deal.

Fuck "karma". I never believed in that stuff. I would have straight up ganked that shit.

That dude is a moron. That much dough is something you don't come by every day.

Leave Jesus out of this Sucka!

Good karma for the guy. It proves that he's a content man with his life. More than some people. Luckily I dont have to make the decision and i'm not silly enough to judge someone else's conscience.

I was a lil' joke.

I found it humorous that Arch has THE POWER OF CHRIST COMPELS YOU! in his location and at the same time is saying "I would have straight up ganked that shit."

Funny stuff.

I'm sure God would understand where I'm coming from. That's a lot of dough to be turning down. But if God was mad I would have put 10 grand in a church donation plate to make him happy.

i would take that ten grand back while god isn't looking

Okay you found the necklace, however you know it's not yours so keeping it would be akin to stealing it. Now how do you turn it into cash?? You just can't walk into a jewellry store and cash it in and no pawn shop is going to touch that unless they're giving you fraction of pennies on the dollar sort of deal. Not all of us have seedy underworld connections afterall.

right kilo, fencing this, he's not going to get $1 million. more like $200,000. a nice chunk of change. life changing, depending on who you are. but potentially more of a problem than its probably worth.

its like a threesome. sounds like good, but probably more responsibility than one man really wants.

The feeling of guilt would be the worst part if he kept it. I could never buy anything with that money, and every time you looked at something that you purchased with that "stolen" money you would get a sick feeling in your stomach.

Like Matt said, find a dollar, keep it. Once you get into some major money range, you turn it in.

I doubt a completely broke person gets that feeling. But a hardworking middle class blue collar guy would.

If you are in the lower closer to poverty level. You feel no remorse keeping it. Just not something most people struggling would feel.

But if you are in a close to content set up, even though it sucks. I see no reason to not turn it in.

That's me right there. My family is poor and I'm going to take advantage of the irresponsible any chance I can.

Did anyone stop to think that finding the Jewelry was "Good Karma" for something he had done previously? [smilie=2thumbsup.g: And maybe, just maybe, the jackass that lost the Jewelry lost it because he deserved some bad Karma to come his way? [smilie=fingerno.gi:

Now he pissed off the Karma Gods for not accepting their gift and throwing their whole system out of whack.... [smilie=angry.gif]
