Man Mo has sunk below that level Matt. His defense is a gaping hole out there. When we played all the sucky teams everyone swore he was getting better. Soon as we started playing playoff teams it was back to the official Mo Evans. The one that sucks. He's Darvin Ham with a 3 point shot and worse defense. Thats it.

I like Mo, and he's an ideal 10th-11th man on the team. The problem is that Flip insists on using him as an 8th-9th man. PUT DELFINO IN THERE FLIP!

Agreed. Mo is actually a very decent player, but when the playoffs come around, we are going to need guys who can create. On D, Delfino may be smaller, but looks like a much better one on one defender.

After all, it sure looks like we got Delk because we needed another player to create off the bench.

I am still interested to see which bench guys play in the playoffs. I assume that Dale is out of the regular rotation, leaving Dice, Hunter, and Delk in. Delfino or Evans based on matchups.

I don't have a problem with Evans as a player, besides the fact that he gets playing time handed to him over Delfino.

To be honest though, I did have higher hopes for Evans based on the hype coming after his signing from Kings fans and others who had seen him play a lot.

It's hard to believe, but I really do think I'd rather have Ronnie Dupree right about now.

logged on just to bump this thread. He was AWFUL yesterday, incredible that a guy who's been with the team all year can be that out of sync with everything we do and the coach just ignores is. Being at the game really gave me a perspective that showed he hasn't a clue how to help this team when he's given minutes.

different set of pressure on him. he'd might be more loose if he didnt know the coach was itching to remove him for evans. who knows. i still think his defense, hustle, passing, and ballhandling is valuable enough to play him over evans. If only he didnt get injured the year before. he woulda solidified himself in browns rotation with those attributes and Flip woulda had to play him on senority.

I'd rather have Curry over them both. Evans is terrible, but what I really don't get is the man love for Delfino. When he's out there, he's barely noticeable. He's made some nice defensive plays from time to time, but he's so timid on the offensive end and then he tops it off with his broke ass jump shot. The guy shoots 39% from the field, 31% from 3, averages almost as many TOs to assists for a supposed ball handler and play maker and yet people always beg for him to be in the game. IMO Joe needs to ship both him and Mo out this off season and find a consistent contributer.

Yesterday, when moe blew that attempt of a reverse layup, the entire row I was in laughed. Dude is sad out there. He does nothing out there. 0, zip, Noda.

Neither can Evans. Mo needs to get leak-outs or setups from Chauncey to put up points. On a rare occassion he can hit a WIDE-OPEN corner triple, but Carlos can hit those too, his opportunities are just few and far between. I still firmly believe that Delfino would be much more consistant with his shot if he got more than 1 or 2 shots per game, and more minutes. Look what happend to Arroyo in Orlando. The guy couldn't hit the broad side of a barn here. He's shooting over 50% in Orlando and putting up over 10 points per game now that he's getting about 20 minutes a game instead of the ~12 minutes and 2 or 3 shots he got here.
