he is not going to be the #1 pick. its ludicrous how overhyped he's become. its not just nbadraft.net, or larry brown saying this stuff either, it seems to be everyone.

thomas is good. he's great at the college level.

but he's 6'9, and cant weigh more than 210. he's got out of this world athleticism, and seems like hes got good length. but he is going to get pushed around in the nba. he's got no offense to speak of (unless you count put backs).

as soon as the buzz of the ncaa's dies down, he'll go back to where he belongs (a few slots down).

(and the reason i make a big deal of this is because i think aldridge is a pretty clear favorite for the #1. so it is overyhyping to say thomas will be drafted over LA).

2 things.

1.)doesnt this belong in the ncaa forum on technicality?

2.)There is a serious Vince young factor awaiting the kid if he wins the ncaa title.

but IMO, he reminds me of Chris bosh with better defense and less ball handling skill. nothing wrong with drafting those qualities. if darko can be hyped up to #2, then anything possible. [smilie=antlers.gif]

At first I thought this thread was about Tim Thomas going off the deep end.

At first I thought this thread was about Tim Thomas going off the deep end.
thus it should be moved to the ncaa forum to avoid this.
