The Indy/Philly game is on.

Philly's defense is terrible. The Pacers have 28 bench points and the half isn't even over. [smilie=arnold.gif]

Granger is a beast. 15 points, and 7 boards off the bench in the 1st half alone.

Darth Thanatos

Indy is playing great D in this half and Tinsley has 11 dishes already.

Webber needs a lot more touches in this offense. He only has 3 boards though.......

8:15 seconds without a point for Philly. [smilie=arnold.gif]

No player other than the big two has more than four points.

Granger is going to be a player, and a lot of teams who passed on him will look mighty foolish in a couple of seasons. I couldn't believe it when he began dropping, and as it got closer to our pick I was praying he'd either keep on falling or that we'd have traded up tp get him.

Yeah, Granger has some serious skills. Should be a mighty fine NBA'er for years to come.

I was gonna write all this. I was in a draft chat and just kept typing "TRADE UP JOE!!!" for about 4 picks....then fucking Indy gets him.

Holy son of a bitch....

Charlie Villanueva had 48 points today on 20 of 32 shooting. [smilie=crazy.gif] Insanity

I guess he's proving all the doubters wrong. Maybe the Raptors do know something afterall [smilie=anxious.gif]

Fair to say Villenueva was the best pick from last year's draft?

29 out of 30 NBA GM's dont draft him that high, when everybody and his brother was predicting the kid to be a bust. Give TOronto's ex-GM some credit. He had balls.

yea but not much brains based on his overall moves. Either way great pickup and one of the few shining moments in his otherwise nasty tenure.

Villanueva looks pretty good right about know, but I'd still trade him and Joey Graham for Chris Paul.

Sonics are running San Antonio ragged in the 4th.

84-78 9:25 left.

If we looked sluggish tonight, San Antonio's dead on its feet.

That's wrong.

Bowen slapped the balll into the backcourt, allen had to go get it with 3 on the shot clock, threw a long pass that horry intercepted on the sideline, and then he fell out of bounds.

I like this Johan Petro kid. He was a big part of both crucial plays. Stepped up and took the entry pass, then set the screen and fed Ray for the dagger. Then on the other end he out-quicked Duncan to the in-bounds pass, and knocked it out to Rashard Lewis to ice the game.

yea but not much brains based on his overall moves. Either way great pickup and one of the few shining moments in his otherwise nasty tenure.

Um, explain exactly what was his "nasty tenure".

The Carter trade/Zo buyout situation?

Cause that's it, that's all you've got on Babcock.

The guy acquired picks, was ready to clear cap space and traded Rafer Alston for Mike James.

Now BC gets to come in, after Embry moved Jalen + Denver's pick for AD (cap space) and laugh his fucking ass off like Jerry West in Memphis.

(majority of the team that went to the playoffs was acquired by Billy Knight but West got all the props in the press. Look it up - it's a fact that the majority of contributors were already there when West took over)

Fuck that - Babcock got the Raptors into a great position and if Geoff Peddie wasn't shiting on him Babcock could have swung that Rose deal himself.

That gives them a ton of cap space and a crew of young prospects on the team. Just fire Mitchell half way through next season (after Bosh is extended) and it's all good.

But no - Babcock's fired half way through a 3-year plan.

BC will complete what Babcock started and get all the credit. I guarantee it. And he'll do it exactly the way Babcock was gonna do it.

His plan was so fucking obvious Ray Charles could see it from the grave
