I'm going to write a research paper on NCAA Football Recruiting Scandals. I want to target Alabama, Colorado, SMU, and any other such scandals in present-day and in the past. Any internet information that would be helpful or any books that could be recommended (my library resources are limited but I"ll be diligent about it) would be greatly appreciated. The more specific, the better.

I don't have any links yet since I just read this, but I'm sure you can google Clarett and find a gold mine of info. Sadly, the NCAA hasn't backed it up with any discipline against the university. Maybe you can include that to highlight the laughable inconsistencies of the NCAA.

So far, that's what I've gotten. Some dude wrote a book about them, which I'd love to read, but there is no library in town and I don't know where I could find it.

I've talked to a friend of mine, who has signed a LOI to Portland State University to play football. He said he may also be able to hook me up with some of the PSU coaches. PSU is I-AA, but it's still what I'm looking for on a smaller scale. Besides, I may uncover a fucking huge illegal recruiting scandal. Then you'd see my name in the papers.

This is gonna sound gay (double entendre), but can anyone find me some contact info for Esera Tuaolo?

For those of you who don't know, he's the defensive lineman who played for nine years who recently came out as a gay guy. Compelling in and of itself, but I recently read his book. In it, he makes a couple pages' worth of mentions of boosters paying players and giving them gifts such as stereos and TVs when he went to college at Oregon State.

As you guys know, I am a HUGE UO Ducks homer and I would love to bust OSU in shit like that. While I have little doubt that Ducks boosters have done it too, I want NAMES. Names get credibility. Maybe Esera Tuaolo would be fine with me asking him some more specific questions about the gifts received.

Basically, if you guys find an E-mail address that would be tight. Phone number, so much the better. He can come out to a nation, surely he can talk about shit like this.
