Miami down Cleveland..narrowing our magin to clinch the central down to 4.
Toronto knocks off Indy on a Mike James jumper
Phoenix goes into Portland and LSOES by 10 points..and they had both barbosa and Nash back. Steve Blake went off on them for 18 and 13.
Sacramento moved into the #8 spot in the west tonight by knocking off Dallas. A defensive slugfest that ended with Terry and Stackhouse throwing up brick after brick in the clutch.
We're back up 2 losses on Dallas and the Spurs again.
Meanwhile, Sacramento is going to be a BITCH to play in the playoffs. They play some of the best defense in the league right now, and they have shooters to open games up.

did they knock the lakers out of the playoffs?

No, they knocked out the Hornets. LA is #7.
there's only 1 game between #7 and #9 though, so this could go any way.
I wouldn't count on the Hornets staying in this race. They've lost 6 ina row and both Sac and LA are on fire.

damnit. c'mon hornets and kings. get them losers out.
PHX is a chucker team like us. You're chucker shots not falling and you'll lose.
Sacto will probably end up 6th seed, though I'd love to see them get eighth...
Shaq looked noticibly thinner and quicker. Ilgauskas was abusing him though, so much so that Alonzo Mourning had to be brought in and Shaq was benched, and wasn't on the floor in the last minutes. Shaq left the arena without comment to reporters.
Dallas has a tough remaining schedule. If we can beat them at the Palace, I think we'll have them "beat", SA and us will go right down to the wire though.

I agree with the fact that Sac is going to be bitch come playoff time. Especially if they meet Dallas in the first round. Kevin Martin has been huge for them.

One of my friends who is a Kings fan said he wasn't sad to see Evans go because Kevin Martin was better. He got bashed by a few King fans, but he looks right as of today.
The Lakers had a tough time earlier this afternoon, but I'm still rooting for them to make the postseason.

i'll be sad to see hornets not make the playoffs.
kings probably are my most hated team in the nba (this goes back to the "queens" era, when they would run up the score on the doormats of the nba, and laugh the whole time.) i probably want to play them in the finals more than any other team though. how great would 4 games of ron artest in detroit be? i dont see them beating the spurs, but they could beat the mavs for sure.
lakers might play the mavs in round 1. how great would that be? kobe would score 400 pts in a series, single handedly winning it, and the haters would still find a way to say kobe should have got devean george more involved in the offense.
in all, the west looks wilder than ever. spurs are a favorite, but duncan hasnt been 100% all year. mavs look strong, but would you ever bet on them to make it to the finals? phoenix looks like a pretender (amare could change that--maybe), then theres like 4 solid teams, and then you have houston and sacramento (who arent even in the playoffs right now) who might be as scary as any team in the west if they get it going. western conferance playoffs are going to be crazy.
ps: kilo, good call on shaq looking alot thinner. i thought i was seeing things. he might be 20 LBs lighter than earlier in the season.

The Rockets have no way of making the playoffs IMO.
I'm just happy the central title is getting closer and closer to us while the Mavs lost 2 recently.
Your right, Duncan hasnt been 100% this season but seeing him go 100% would be a bitch.

Thats what good teams do. The pistons should do that every single night.
