Its not what it used to be, thats for sure.
The guests are funnier than their people sometimes.

From what I understand, after the success of the first Wayne's World, Lorne Michaels redesigned the SNL contracts so that any characters the comedians create on the show, Micheals owns. So he would've owned the Blues Brothers if they'd been created in the late 80's with Micheals at the height of his power. Thank god Akroyd owns it.

This keeps the best shit off SNL. No creative type wishes to be ripped off like this. It's why Myers broke away from the show before pulling off Austin Powers. It's aalso why the most talented comedians stay away, or hang for only a few years. What's left is the crap -- people who have little talent and shit timing.

I think that the show's actually improved recently. The second that Will left we were fucked.

I like Maya Rudolph, and of the newest people, Bill Hader's the only funny one. Kenan Thompson's a joke in most of his sketches.

I actually like everyone that's currently on besides Dratch. I want her to go away.
