When you click on the Gaming forum link, you should see the Display Options box on the bottom of the page. Change the setting in the box that says "From The" to Beginning and click Show Threads. That should do the trick.

When you open the forums next to the button that says forum tools, theres a "search this forum" button. Just put in what your looking for and it'll search only that certian forum :)
