besides the obvious, are there hands that you just seem to have luck with?

for me, it's pocket Jacks. i have such a hard time laying them down if someone goes all in ahead of me. also, once the flop hits, all it takes is an A, K, or Q on the board to make your JJs feel worthless :( are you guys disciplined enough to lay them down? the only time i can lay them down confidently is when there's a re-raise all in before me. then i can usually feel confident i'm beat. the pocket paint just looks so nice...

I hate getting suited connectors in bad spots. like 9, 10 suited or something like that. You want to see a cheap flop, but sometimes people keep betting before the flop and you can get stuck. low pocket pairs can also chap you.

My worst hand has to be an A-6. I don't think I've ever won a hand where I didn't bluff at it with those two cards.

gah, just lost $15 bucks online w/ JJ vs his AQ.

he went all in preflop twice in a row (with no raises in front of him, so he just won the blinds), so i put little credence when he went all in (he was small blind) after i raised 1.5X the blinds (on the button).

he caught an ace on the river

im all about pocket 2's. cant come to the table without your 22 right? haha. i swear i never lose with em either. my old roomie would bet bet bet with a 2/7 offsuit. i loved playing him for money :)

Least favorite? Probably pocket 8s. Too small to play w/ too much confidence after the flop--there's bound to be overcards--but too big to disregard, especially heads-up.

I'll agree with "tha fishhooks". I get burned with those damn pocket jacks all the time. The last time I had them I actually flopped the third jack only to find out that the guy I went all in against had a full boat with jacks over 2's.
