View Full Version : AI Crossed up Antonio Daniels...TWICE Cross 03-04-2006, 11:00 AM Does anyone have a vid of that? Saw it on NBA.com but would love to have it. Black Dynamite 03-05-2006, 04:58 PM that wasnt fair to mankind honestly. No one should get fucked up that bad on a crossover and have it seen by the human eye. Shit like this was only meant for shoe commercials. Glenn 03-05-2006, 04:58 PM SNAP!! Broken ankles all over the floor. detroitsportscity 03-05-2006, 08:08 PM SNAP!! Broken ankles all over the floor. And a guys jock. Cross 03-06-2006, 07:50 AM Kind of feel bad for Antonio Danels. He was holding up his hands and shrugging his shoulders with a "WTF" expression on his face hoping for something. lol. Fool 03-06-2006, 08:18 AM Not to be the little black rain cloud, but that shits traveling. You're allowed to pivot when receiving the ball from a stationary position. You can't take a step. If not the travel, they could have at least called the carry. WTFchris 03-06-2006, 09:11 AM The video is too small to tell, but it almost looks like he touches the ball with both hands before the 2nd cross over (which would be double dribble). Can't tell from that small a video though. Black Dynamite 03-06-2006, 10:02 AM Damn, ya'll a lil too stuck on fundamentals, i dont think he traveled. but carries is possible. EDIT: Fuck that, he kept his hand over the ball well enough. It is not a carry and didn't travel IMO. But either way Atonio Daniels will be famous for all the wrong reasons off that one. In fact thats the best legal dribble move by iverson since the NBA started cracking down on his dribbling style specifically. In fact thats the best legal dribble move by iverson since the NBA started cracking down on his dribbling style specifically. No way (IMO)! Iverson has far better (and more legal) examples of the crossover. This one is mostly Daniels falling all over himself (which is funny as hell in its own right). Hell Daniels is giving him like 3 ft to start with. As for the non-traveling argument. Its really pretty simple. That first step isn't a pivot (the only thing he's allowed in this situation) and his back leg is definately in the air before he dribbles (even though it doesn't even have to be in the air for the call to be made). Daniels looking around like WTF? is probably legitly looking for either call but dude's nuts are getting floor burn while he's doing it so he loses out on that call in my book. I dont know. his left looked fine to me. You need a longer and bigger clip to be sure IMO. WTFchris 03-06-2006, 11:46 AM nope, it's a definate travel. He does lift his back foot before the ball hits the floor. Even on the small picture you can see that. FreeYayo98 03-06-2006, 02:34 PM That crossover was so sick my main man A.Daniels looked bad...and no USA basketball for AI? Bullshit. PhatPat23 03-08-2006, 01:44 PM AI is talented enough to make the team and a good enough player, but they really don't need a shoot-first PG on a USA basketball team. Nash/Billups fit much better for a team of stars, plus hes a coach's nightmare PhatPat23 03-08-2006, 01:45 PM If Nash was on the USA team they'd never lose... Matt 03-08-2006, 01:48 PM if nash was on the USA team they'd never lose... if Nash were playing for our national team, we'd be Canada [smilie=earmuffs.gi: |
