Let me just say that Chauncey Billups is an ICON out in Denver. My aunt and uncle live out there. My uncle is an arts guy, and doesn't really pay much attention to sports. But he knows damn well who Chauncey Billups is. They were calling him an NBA superstar in his freshman year at highschool. He has given sizeable donations to the University of Colorado, where he attended college. I'm sure you will see a lot of #1 jerseys out there if they show the crowd. yeah, we didn't look like we wanted that game. They gave us a prime chance to steal it (we were down 6 I think) in the 4th when Boykins missed back to back threes. We played helter skelter and chucked up lowsy shots. Then Kmart got away with a travel (caught his own airball), hit a couple of threes and the game was out of hand.

I didn't know that there was such a precise definition of what constitutes "chucking".

To me, taking perimeter jumpshots (almost exclusively some nights), oftentimes without even considering throwing the ball into the post, constitutes chucking. I don't care if you are open or not, if you shoot 25 threes in a game, you're chucking IMO.
