I'm definitely not new to online shopping (got a card dedicated to it as well as Paypal and Bidpay accounts) but older signature shoes are hard to find on reliable vendors with the few searches I did on the search engines. The only other reliable way is through shoe forums, and I'm not in the mood to spend some time doing it.

BTW, I say go with comfort on this thing. Try them all on and let comfort decide. Why do looks matter that much? Those shoes are all nice looking, just get the ones you'll be most comfortable in.

I tried all of them reccently except for the Pippens. Though I had a pair before when I used to collect kicks, I didn't exactly use them for basketball...

The Huaraches overall were light and held my whole foot in, however, the VCs felt better near the heel/arch of my foot (shox probably).

I'll get to try the Pippens on soon hopefully.

I say go with the Pippens. I think the VC's look ugly as fuck. And, I'm not a big fan of the Hurache.

If I can get a hold of the Pippens I'm definitely picking them up. If not, the Huarache will suffice. I just need to get whatever pair soon so I can break them in.

i just tried these shoes on last night and they are SO DAMN COMFORTABLE!

they are very lightweight and the style's not too outlandish. there's a strap along the top which should give your ankles some support too. the dude at footlocker actually said that some of the younger kids didn't even know who "Penny" was, when they came in the store and looked at the shoes. i like the white's better, but i haven't had a pair of black ball shoes in a while, so i might consider them.

one thing to consider, is if you wear an ankle brace. the inside is like a "sock liner" with a snug top. if you're wearing an ankle brace, it'll be a snug fit going in. once you put the shoe on, it's fine, but the opening is small. so, if you're wearing an ankle brace, you might consider buying a size and a half larger than you normally wear.
