Yuck. We had a god gme going but we gave up in the end.
Ager had 16 1st half points but then went cold. Neitzel struggled a bit.
Grr. This was a shitty loss.

Choke job. I have an ugly feeling the Spartans are not going to get much done the rest of this season. And yes, that includes March. [smilie=angryfire.g:

The worst thing I fear is a first round upset. They way this team plays, it's a 50-50 chance it will happen.

Such talent but such inconsistency. You don't know what to expect each night from these guys.

State has zero leadership...however the same questions were buzzing around last year... We will see come tourney time

Yeah, it's a bit quite here but I can't blame the Sparties. Tre took his lumps in another thread, Nick chimed in pretty quick, and Steve surprisingly started the thread (pouring salt in his own wound - brilliant), so it's not like they ran from it.
By the way, I'm not looking forward to watching Michigan try to defend that outside shot in Buckeye Country (which smells exactly like shit, btw) this weekend. If they pull the upset again it would be amazing, but it would truly be an upset of mammoth proportions - bigger than the Illinois game since it's on the road. Of course, this thread proves that home court advantage isn't always worth as much as people tend to assume it is.

Ok, I need to re-visit this. Damn, it's quite in the NCAA forum today. But I'm not just talking about Spartans. There's hardly any activity today, and it's my main day to be online. It's anticlimatic and I'm pissed about that! Punks.

Man, this is all like football. State football got off to a hot start(like UM bball) and then fell to a horrible losing streak. and UM football started slow (as well as MSU bball) got on a hot streak and went off again.
Though UM will reach the tournament, instead of failing to reach a "bowl game" like MSU, I don't think UM will go very far in the Tournament.

This result really surprised me. I thought State would pull out about a 10 point win. I agree SKelly and Muhme. State is very talented but they do seem to lack leadership. They don't seem to have the fluidity and confidence they've had in the past.
On another note WhyTF wasn't this game on TV? 2 top 25 teams and one being a major university in Michigan. Whack.

First, selection Sunday I'm guessing will be March 12.
Second, that's nice that it was on Comcast, if you live in the southern part of the state, but charter needed to pick it up and make a bigger deal about it. Weak charter, weak.
