Is that something that came from his days in Portland or earlier, or is that some crazy concoction that the fans of Detroit came up with?
I've always wondered but never knew the answer.

I doubt that.

I heard his mama, the nurses, and doctors all chanted it as he was being delivered from his mother's womb as a baby.
I also heard that when they smacked his ass, instead of crying, he just yelled "ball don't lie", and then looked at the doctor and said "you're my boy, blue!"
I swear sheed thinks the crowd is yelling "shoooooooooooooooooot."

I swear sheed thinks the crowd is yelling "shoooooooooooooooooot."
or "shoot the threeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee"
has he ever passed when the chant starts?
though is it considered a chant, if they dont get through it one time before he shoots?

I went to a game before Christmas...every time the crowd did the chant he'd try to score...and he scored just about every time too, so as far as I'm concerned, he should keep doing it.
