Can they please replace Kelser and McCloud? They are getting terrible. They mispeak something every other word, stutter, and generally suck overall. We have to be able to find better announcers than them. FSN needs to make some changes there. Monday Night Football is being proactive, hopefully FSN will ditch those two.

Sorry, I am not. Maybe they just had a bad night. But they kept sturring left and right. Once and a while is fine, but it gets to a point where you really notice it, like when someone keeps using "uhm"

Maybe the problem is Fred tries to do too much color commentary. He's good on the play by play, but when he starts talking about streaks, stats, and all that stuff he doesn't have a train of thought. He messes up.

Best quote ever from Fred was a couple of weeks ago against the Grizzlies. Chauncey was heating up and single handedly bringing the Pistons back in the game. Chauncey pump faked and caught his defender in the air, shot the three, nailed it, plus the foul.

Not sure if this deserves it's own thread but did anyone think Kelser and Fred McCleod were going overboard in defending both Arroyo and Darko last night.

It's like they both now there some pressure on these two but they went way out of there way to defend both of them. They must of talked about Darko's situation for what seemed like a few minutes with the usual call for patience about 5 times. I even think they had the camera on darko during game play for a moment. It was like a plea to the fans to stay calm.

I found it awkward and sort of funny when they praised Arroyo for a routine play stopping the ball from going out of bounce and then passing it to an open teamate. It was like "wow look at that play" Then on another play Arroyo throws a ball up to the ceiling on an alley-oop then smacks his hands in disgust and McCleod says "see he cares".

Just found it downright awkward and over the top.

Geck, I was laughing my ass off when he said the "he cares" line. That was one of the ugliest alley- OOPS I've seen in a while. I think they did speak on patience with Darko a bit too much, maybe Joe "whispered" in Greg's ear.

On the topic of announcers. I would just like to add that Laimbeer is the worst color analsyt I ever listened to.

He provides no insight at all and his color commentaries are filled with great insight such as "Wow George". He tends to say the same tired lines game after game. I thought he was a great addition to the ESPN studios in NY with his persona but just terrible as a color analyst.

since i currently dont have cable (YIKES!) i usually watch FSN at the bar. the bars usually dont have sound. im not particularly fond of them, so its fine.

i never understand why people hate on lambier. imo, he's among the best/strongest personalities on tv.

perhaps he doesnt break things down the best, but he understands the flow of the game as well as anyone. if he makes a prediction, book it.

also, hes the most quotable. i remember during a preseason game against the heat last year, lambier said of laetner "and its juuuuuust about time for him to hang 'em up". hilarious, true, and something no one else would have said.
