I just want to salute Jon Bender for potentially being one of the greatest
Indiana Pacers in the history of their franchise. It was magic watching him
early in the season or even preseason.

The versatility of this young man is probably only matched by the likes of
Kevin Garnett and the poise and ability to come back from injuries has to
remind you of Grant Hill or even Jamaal Masburn.

Jonathan Bender, this one's for you. You're no longer able to excite the fans
of the Pacers with your wobbly wobbly style...at any moment, you could go
out for the season. For this, I thank you. I hate the Pacers, so anything that
would give their fans false hope warms my heart.

You my friend are a true champion (Darko's got a ring and you don't sucka!!!
LOL!!! You ain't no champion!!!) and you really came out and gave it your
best. What more could you ask for from a cat with bad knees named Bender.
OH THE IRONY!!!! (With skinnier legs than T-Mac you couldn't expect them
to support the weight of a 12 year old girl, let alone a 6'9" basketball player!)

Thank you for everything. It's been real. I'm glad I don't have to hear,
"Once Bender gets back, we'll be able to get this ring for sure!" or
"Nobody can match up with him! He is like a Garnett that can shoot 3's!" or
how about my favorite, "Who on the Pistons could even guard him!?! LOL!"

Well Pacers fans, apparently my man's got the Monster Mash syndrome and
we'll have to continue to laugh at your franchise. To make matters worse
for the fans of this piece of shit scumbag organization, if he was a Piston,
he probably would have never got injured. I think that franchise has to
seriously look inward and find out why they can't keep cats healty, why
they can't heal these players' injuries OR why they keep drafting bitches!

Fuck the Pacers. Peace out Bender.

You should note that he would always do furious slams after he would get fouled at the half court line.

Awesome. Who remembers the more athletic than Garnett and a better shooter than Dirk comments? Those were the days. Maybe the Pistons can get him out of retirement, have him drink some of our poition called Kander and Abdenour that keeps Pistons healthy, then have Bender dunk all over the Pacers. Yeah but he's like 25 and makes more money in one year then we'll make in our lifetime combined. Imagine being a young retire millionaire at 25. He doesn't ever have to get up in the morning. How lucky is he.

The best thing Bender ever did for the Pacers is retire now so his salary will come off as early as possible becuase of his injury retirement.

Its pretty damn sad that the best thing this guy ever did for the franchise is quit.

I remember when he had that stupid checkerboard haircut.

That alone should justify retirement.

Thank you MOLA, I enjoy thinking about Pacer fans' misery.
