Who does everyone think will medal in the Olympics? I hope to US can medal but, it will be tough. Their goaltending is very suspect. I think they should add Buffalo's Ryan Miller to the team. What does everyone think?

I honestly dont think they have a shot at medalling. The Czhecks and russians are too tough, not to mention the swedes and the fins. Team USA is in tough and any goaltender they can put between the pipes has struggled this year at some point. Hell even Brodeur struggled at the beginning of the year so even Canada isnt out of that boat.
There is no chance Ryan Miller makes this team unless esche backs out due to injury. Nobody can waste a taxi squad spot on a 4th goaltender. You could also make a case based on his last months play Tim Thomas G (Flint, MI) should go.
I'm predicting a 4th or 5th place for USA

Russia has some great talent on their team but they seem to have trouble playing as a team. Not to mention the abscence of Khabibulin is going to hurt them even though he is not having a good season so far. But with Ovechkin, Datsyuk, Kovalchuk they have the talent to dominate games.
As for the other teams, Finland is not going to contend without Kiprusoff. Slovakia will field a team that can score in bunches but they lack defense. I think Canada and the Czech Republic are the only true contenders with Sweeden and Russia close behind them. US is probably going to endup 5th.

I can't find where I said it, but I said I am looking forward to the Swedes winning it all. And they did.
